Nice room but boiling hot when I arrived.

The check in took longer than it should because there was only one person on duty. The room is great but the thermostat was set to 25 degrees which is far too hot for me.

Quiet but close to city

Location: Close to exhibition centre, just next door and right outside dfo south wharf where there are many great outlet shops as well as eating places.
Great refurbished room. Well equipped generally, just love it when they have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. A couple of biscuits to nibble with a cuppa would have been good. Very well air conditioned. Very quiet overnight but obviously some Reno’s being down upstairs during the day, but didn’t disturb us. Great buffet breakfast and parking included, would stay again.

Fantastic hotel close to the city and shops

We loved our stay at Pan Pacific (previously called the Hilton), rooms were fantastic, bed comfortable and we found a great rate on Expedia including breakfast and free parking (you just drive into dfo carpark then when you check in they give you a single exit pass). It’s right on top of DFO so plenty of shopping at your door. The only single thing I can think of was I wish they had real coffee included in the breakfasts, they offer fresh juices but don’t have a coffee machine or barista and the filter coffee was pretty bad (other similar motels have had coffee machines at the buffet). But otherwise a fantastic stay and we would stay again.

Kids were disappointed that there was no pool, and I think no for the amount you pay a car park should be included. But I liked everything else, the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in. We had a wonderful time and would stay again.

Check in staff were not too friendly. Bath was deliciously deep and the shower was great too. Bed very comfortable and black out blind worked fabulously. Our only problem was a card needing to be in the slot for the power to the room, it was ridiculously hot in the room when we came in and it took a long time for the air con to make a difference, not pleasing when you’ve just come off a long flight and you’re hot and bothered.

Enjoyable stay

Pros: Everything in the room. Staff were professional.

Location: Near the casino and bars
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The process of check-in and out was quick. The room we got had a stunning view and an absolutely comfortable mattress. There isn't I could fault. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.
