Good but inconvenient

Posted Jan 27, 2017 on Wotif
Place is well located, surrounding quiet, room well maintained, has the necessities, door is amazingly hard to open, the killer is the lack of an elevator, carrying heavy luggage up a few flight of stairs is a put off.

Budget accomodation well located north of the city. A late booking was not too much trouble either. Will be back

Quiet and comfortable

Excellent size apartment and kitchenette. The bed was excellent, very comfortable. The bathroom is a little out dated. But it was great.

Pros: Great location. Reasonably priced. Nice to have a separate living room.
Cons: Extra blanket and pillows would be appreciated.
Location: In the centre of Carlton - lively and close to the city.
Check in is around the corner, not far to walk, so no staff based at the apartments. Pleasant staff at reception.

Posted Jun 14, 2016 on Wotif
Pros: Location
Location: Good location - close to Lygon Street restaurants, shops, tram stop and supermarket/shopping complex
Apartment was clean but basic - needs a bit of TLC in the bathroom - cooking pots etc very basic - bath gets very slippery when showering and should have abrasive tapes fitted - living area would be cramped with four people. Building is well located but carpet in the stairwell is very worn and threadbare in places.

Convenient location!

Posted Mar 25, 2016 on Wotif
Pros: Its convenient locality to supermarket, shops, restaurants and transport.
Cons: With regard to bathroom, a hand rail. The kitchen would benefit from some more utensils, e.g. a saucepan, cups and glasses.
Location: Great location. Close to supermarket, cinema, Lygon Street restaurants and transport.
A comfortable stay. However, there were several drawbacks which included a difficult door lock to our apartment which was hard to lock and unlock, a high step up and over the hip bath to the shower was a challenge to "us oldies" and more kitchen utensils would have been appreciated.

Great location

Posted Mar 19, 2016 on Wotif
Pros: It's location and having a small kitchen.
Cons: Bathroom needed bench space.
Location: Shopping, theatre and dining
Close to restaurants, shops and tram to city through to South Melbourne beach. Climbing into bath to shower a bit risky for older clients but fine for short stays.
