Excellent for price and locationPosted Jun 13, 2016
Pros: Breakfast and pleasant court yard, pillow choices, attentive staff
Cons: The building is a bit dated however there is not a lot that can be done about that.
It is an airport hotel so is there to serve a purpose. However it has been recently refurbished, staff very friendly and fantastic breakfast looking over pleasant courtyard.

After trying to lug a 5 year old and newborn through the rain from the carpark with prams, bags and baby equipment - while tired and pouring with rain at 9pm... On my own. We weren't off to a good start. I liked that they had a carpark even though they are next to the airport. It was just a shame it had started raining as we were trying to get in. Room was clean and bed linen was divinely comfortable. Lots of room to put the bags, pram and baby stuff as well as the 5 year olds toys and books. We were woken at 5am for a "wake up call" - which I had not booked, especially having only just gotten back to sleep for the 4th time with the baby. I said I didn't book one and thought nothing more of it. At check out the manager came out to apologise and offered to get us breakfast and cover our parking cost. The staff really did a great job of making us feel good about staying there. They have a cute little kids room just around from reception - my son loved it and it gave me a chance to feed the baby in peace. Overall, this Holiday Inn is really good. We were very happy and comfortable during our stay and the staff were fantastic.

Room was well appointed, comfortable and soundproof (very important before a flight). Staff are exceptionally kind and helpful.

Convenient to airport. Nice size room. Mildew at bottom of shower curtain. Disappointing.
