Pros: The staff were friendly and always said hello when you walked past. Loved the water in the lobby that was always infused with refreshing fruits etc.
Cons: Unfortunately the hotel did not provide free wifi which was a bit disappointing, but the room more than made up for that.
Location: Close to the massive Burke Street Mall for shopping. Short walk to the free tram stops which take you to Victoria Market, Southbank, and the Zoo.
We had a Deluxe One Bedroom Suite which was massive! Much bigger than we were expecting. We walked in the door and were taken aback by the sheer size of the place, it even had it's own hallway! Every room was big - the bedroom, living room, good size kitchen with pantry, and the bathroom. It's always good to have a decent size bathroom when away, and this one had double sinks which was a nice luxury. The room itself had lots of windows, being a corner room, and had privacy sheers and curtains. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Initially we found our room was too cold so they turned the heating up for us twice until we were happy. We also asked for a blanket for the bed as it was too cold overnight, and a pillow that was flatter. When these hadn't turned up after housekeeping had been, we mentioned it to reception who apologised profusely, although we weren't hugely bothered. When we returned to our room later, everything had been supplied, and there was a nice surprise of a lovely cheeseboard with crackers and fruit, a bottle of wine, and a card saying that if there is anything else that we needed doing for our room to please let them know! The reception staff also helped us out with places to eat nearby, and times that local attractions were open. We had breakfast with our room package which I would recommend getting. It only cost us an extra $10 each per night to get the full buffet breakfast each morning. We enjoyed the convenience of that.

Good location, pleasant staff, excellent service.Posted Apr 19, 2017
Pros: Presentation and staff.
Location: China town , city centre, musuems.
We were greeted with a cheese platter and champagne to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The service from there on, only got better. If we approached the staff with a query they offered an immediate solution. The staff are trained to please and do just that in a friendly and efficient manner.

Wonderful StayPosted Apr 2, 2017
From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't do enough for us. They printed out a map showing our tram routes and places of interest. The rooms were very clean and comfortable but far more than that. They were beautifully styled and designed. I slept on a trundle bed and it was very comfortable. Lastly it was SO QUIET! Wonderful.

Pros: - Staff - Room cleanliness
Cons: - Access to Pool, Spa or Sauna
Location: - Nice restaurants nearby hotel. - Not as close to CBD attractions or trams
We only stayed for 2 nights, however the staff were very friendly and understanding of our situation. Definitely recommendable to anyone looking for a hotel during a busy weekend period.

Just not for usPosted Feb 19, 2017
No free wifi which makes it difficult for overseas visitors. Room very dark even with lights on. No windows that you can open. No room safe. Breakfast was good, plenty of selection. Reception staff very good. It's in a good position for seeing the city and has good cafe's and resturants close. Has cold drink avaliable in reception area. Allowed us late exit which was a help as our plane left late afternoon. We just felt the darkness and closeness of the rooms were really depressing to go back to.
