Nice hotel close to everythingPosted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: Best thing about this hotel is where it is located. There is tram stops practically at the front door and only a short walk to central station.
Cons: The bathroom could be updated.
Location: Queen street markets, Lygon street, central station and CBD are just a short walk from the hotel and tram stations practically at the front door
My parents and my partner and I stayed for four nights in a two bedroom apartment. There was plenty of room for all of us so didn't feel cramped. The main bathroom was dated but does the job and it was great to have a washing machine and dryer. The hotel staff are very helpful and the house keeping do a reasonable job everyday. Best thing about this hotel is where it is located. There is tram stops practically at the front door and only a short walk to central station.

nice hotel close to everything on free tram route.Posted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: Had everything, Pool, Gym, Restaurant, IGA next door - but its very expensive.
Cons: Bathrooms need a little bit more love! Could provide a mop in rooms for spills.
Location: Melbourne Gaol, Museums, Melbourne Central, MCG easy walk, Yarra river cruise, Harbour Town, use free city circle tram.
Great area, 2 blocks from Melbourne Central, on the free tram city circle (but it finishes at 6pm and 9pm on Saturdays). In walking distance to many attractions such as Melbourne Gaol.

Pros: The hotel is situated in a great place for visiting the sites of Melbourne and catching the Circle Tram is almost on the doorstep.
Location: The city is within walking distance of the hotel and the Circle Tram is over the road which gives travel access to the city.
The staff were very nice and helpful especially as Expedia had not forwarded the booking of the hotel, to the hotel. We had the confirmation of the booking by email but the hotel knew nothing. We had a 3 1/2 hour wait while the hotel staff sorted out the booking with Expedia. Thank you to the staff at the hotel who finally got us booked into an apartment, thank goodness they had a spare room, especially as it was in school holidays. I wonder what Expedia would have done if the hotel had been fully booked? I hope this doesn't happen to other families. If I do book with Expedia again I will be ringing the booked hotel prior to leaving home to check the hotel booking is confirmed. Mantra on the Park staff 10/10............ Expedia - must do better!

good views over the parkPosted Jul 6, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: The 2 bedroom apartment we had was comfortable and roomy. The main had an ensuite which was a blessing.
Hotel is in a great position; easy walk to theatres, Chinatown ,the old Melbourne gaol, Lygon Street and the Museum. Very handy having the free circle tram stop on the corner as well which we used every day.

Nice place conveniently located on the north side.Posted Jul 5, 2015 on Wotif
Great location. Lygon St and China Town both very close. Cafe next to the lobby has fantastic coffee! I won't be booking any accommodation through Wotif again as I was unable to get a tax invoice from the Mantra or Wotif. Very poor!

Good locationPosted Jul 3, 2015 on Wotif
We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 8 days. The location was fantastic and the size of the room was good. The only thing that I wish to highlight is that the rooms should be vacuumed and cleaned properly. The housekeeping staff had not cleaned for three days and I informed the front desk. They immediately resolved this matter for me. Overall the hotel was great.
