I arrived in Melbourne too late to book an onward flight. I chose Mantra because it was near to the airport. There was a shuttle bus and we were dropped off in the car park. The driver just walked away. I am recovering from an eye operation so my sight is limited. I finally asked someone where the entrance was and they just said “over there”. So much for the service industry. The check in was better and helpful and the clerk helped me take my things to the room. The bus back to the airport was much better with a friendly and helpful driver. The hotel is okay for a one night stop over

airport shuttle was a big plus, and having a restaurant on site also great after we missed a flight connection due to delay. One of our more expensive stays in Australia, but fairly nice room.

Easy transport with shuttle from the airport. Room is clean and comfortable for overnight stay. Room service breakfast was quick and delicious...avocado /eggs was perfect.

Nice and easy to get to, property was comfortable and quiet, my only thing would be $29 for parking is a bit rich, but apart from that, cant fault it.

Nice quick stay, rooms could use soft close hinges and room service steak was the worst I’ve ever had unfortunately but a pleasant stay besides that. I would simply dine somewhere else if I were to return.

we chose to stay here as we had an early flight the next day. The hotel was convenient to our car rental firm and the airport so suited us perfectly. The room was clean and well equipped and met our requirements. Would easily recommend

I’ve stayed here before and had a good experience. This time round though, I had a couple of grievances. While there were some really friendly staff, there was a gentleman behind the bar who didn’t smile and seemed most unimpressed - I felt like more of a nuisance asking him for my order. The room was very clean - until I pulled back the bed a little to get to the power point and discovered a tonne of dust and grime. I did love the soaps and shampoos etc though - sustainable and smelled nice! In regards to the shuttle bus, I do think they need to be more clear that they don’t lift the suitcases into the van. None of the passengers really understood the sign indicating they would assist lifting them into the back that it was only assistance. The guy who told us he wouldn’t help was quoting OH&S which I totally understand but I think it needs to be more clear. My mother has osteoporosis and shouldn’t be lifting heavy cases so of course we did it for her but if I hadn’t been there, I’m not sure what would have happened. The driver was also quite an aggressive driver when taking us to the airport. With all that being said though, I do like this location and would stay here again as my first experience was really good.

The Mantra is showing her age but very clean. The staff for the most part were friendly and efficient. Our worst experience was in the dining room. The breakfast buffet was tepid and dry at 9am. Unappetizing and very poor value for money

The staff member on the phone when trying to find a hotel after a missed flight connection was great. When we arrived the same guy and another front desk staff member were so warm and welcoming after a bad day. Would recommend.

Room was good and looked like the photos. Comfortable bed and good food options. Was disappointed that the TV remote didn't have all the functions working. The spa by the pool could do with a clean.

NIght Dining staff were brilliant, in particular Mike and another Lady. Excellent customer service and resolved an issue with the food very quickly and efficiently. I have stayed here a couple of times and find the menu and food veryyy average and uninspiring. Ate there the first night, 2nd night I Ubered to a restaurant for better options.

The front desk staff was average. The first time I stayed 3 of them stared at a computer while I pushed the buzzer to get in the door. When I did get in no one interacted with me for 3-4 minutes until I finally started to engage them.

The front desk staffs are friendly but the condition of this hotel is terrible, needs to upgrade on the linen and towels. Cannot be rated as 4 stars!!
