Hotel is in a convenient location with our room having a nice view of the park. There is a tram stop just out the front of the hotel which was convenient. The staff were friendly and overall we had a nice stay. Would definitely stay here again in future when travelling to melbs.

We had a great stay, we didn't have late checkout but they didn't rush us out and gave us some extra time. Tram ride into city was easy! Will use again!

Too noisy to sleep

Posted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: Clean and friendly staff.
Cons: Fix the elevators
Location: Central location to city attractions and business district
I was in a room near the elevator which could be heard every time it was ascending and descending. The noise rattled through my room and made relaxation and sleep impossible.

Convenient

Posted Aug 19, 2015
Pros: Clean and comfortable with good facilities on site for our needs.
Cons: My only criticism is that I felt that the restaurant prices were too high.
The hotel was close to where we wanted to go. Breakfast was included and a restaurant was on site.

Excellent service and accommodation

Posted Aug 10, 2015
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights when I recently attended a conference at the Alfred Hospital. The hotel is only a 5-10 minute walk to the hospital, which was really convenient. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. One helpful staff member even drove me in the hotel car to the hospital one morning because it was raining! The rooms were extremely well appointed and very full designed. I stay in hotels regularly and this was by far one of the best layed out rooms I have stayed in. There was plenty of storage space and the bathroom and storage space areas were quite seperate from the bed area, which I really liked. The bed was super comfortable! Although the hotel was a few kms out of the city, The tram stop is right out the front so it's really quite convenient. Overall, I thought the service and attention to detail in this hotel was suburb and it was excellent value for money.

Great hotel with good city location.

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: Location, value for money ,good staff, off street parking, clean and comfortable.
Location: The location is close to the city, Chapel street and Toorak road. Also very close to Albert Park lake.
The hotel was easy to find. Located in an area close to the city, and also exciting inner suburbs. We had a refuel package, which gave us a $25. fuel card, free parking, breakfast included and 1pm checkout. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and comfortable. .

No hot water,

Posted Aug 1, 2015
No hot water to shower , I left disappointed , the manager at the time did nothing to speak to me and resolve the issue She called 3 days later and the compensation is very pathetic I paid for a room for 3 and but I'm still expected to pay for room but the manager has offered a upgrade Not good enough, I won't stay there again

Looks better in the pictures

Very dated, as for the supplies I think it would have to be the worst stocked mini bar I've ever seen, including $70 a night motel in Devonport Tas. Very close to CBD by tram. In all honesty for what cost me $900 for 5 nights stay, breakfast not included (even though advertised when booked $5 buffet breakfast) I definitely feel like I didn't get value for money and I definitely didn't receive any friendly customer service ( other than the cleaning staff and 2 x reception staff). Just because I'm not foreign doesn't mean I'm don't require help and information. I'm not one of these complain about everything guests, but I wouldn't want anyone else paying $$$ and not getting your dollars worth.
