Noise noise noise!!

Excellent hotel apart from a few small things such as NO FREE Wi-Fi in guest room (only in lobby) NO complementary water and had to drink tap water. The noise!! Room was next to elevators, hardly got any sleep due to the huge mechanical noise made by the three lifts!!

Simple but nice and fantastic location

Fantastic, we had two rooms and both were upgraded on check in. Very nice! The hotel is probably better described as a nice 3 star but very comfortable and helpful staff. Great for a getaway and excellent value for the price. Very happy with it

Nice neighborhood, on the water.

Pros: Clean, pleasant desk staff, comfortable for a long stay.
Cons: A comfortable chair in addition to the office-style chair, though the room was pretty small so I don't know where it would fit.
Location: You can watch the penguins every evening just across the street.
I was in Melbourne for a week for a conference at Monash University. This hotel was a very good place to stay - not too far from the campus by tram or taxi - but in the charming St. Kilda area. I really enjoyed having breakfasts served by room service. Each one was delicious and beautifully presented and, oddly, less expensive than the breakfast buffets offered in the restaurant and much better.

Great location as it's near the pier and walking distance to restaurants. Had a small issue earlier trying to find the entrance to their parking but it was quickly sorted out by the frontdesk....just got to ask. The main entrance to the hotel is rather small and the side of the building so I had to take a couple of rounds just to make sure I'm at the right side. But overall it's excellent.

Good hotel with great views over St Kilda beach

Very good service, great staff. Facilities mostly excellent (bed, spa bath) but some dated (blind that pulled away from wall, threadbare patch on heavy use area of carpet). Would recommend for overall comfort and cleanliness, and friendly, professional staff.
