Efficient and courteousPosted Nov 7, 2015
Good value for money. Not the best room i've stayed in in Melbourne but the room rate made it all worth while. Service and facilities were good, no negative experiences. I didn't try the F&B services, maybe next time. I would come back for sure.

Great hotel, extremely friendly and helpful staff!Posted Nov 6, 2015
Pros: Location is great, staff fantastic, rooms clean and comfortable.
Location: Location is great, Queen Victoria Markets right next door. Tram and the CBD on the doorstep and yet the hotel is in a quiet little corner.
We arrived very early in the morning and were allowed to use the amenities until a room was ready for us which was available well before check in time. This hotel went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

this hotel was very close to central StationPosted Oct 31, 2015
Pros: the location and cleanieness
Cons: the blinds in the room- i would have prefered curtians for darkness and sound blockout
Location: Everything was in walking distance to to trams and trains. An IGA across the road was handy as well.
Being so close to Central Station made getting around Melbourne so easy. Very handy for shopping and dining. the rooms were convienient with the kitchenette.

Retail Therapy in MelbournePosted Oct 31, 2015
Pros: Location, room size, facilities.
Cons: Swimming pool temperature 1 - 2 degrees hotter than I'm used to. Minor nuisance only when swimming laps.
Location: So close to QV Markets. Easy walk to Melbourne Central, Bourke St Mall.
Yes, this is the place to stay, especially if you have teenagers. Stick them in their own room, connect to the free wifi, and enjoy. The rooms are very good, excellent gym and indoor pool. As for shopping, Melbourne is better than Singapore and Hong Kong. The Pegasus is easy walking to big shopping centres at Melbourne Central. You look down on the QV Markets. Will be staying here again next visit.

Our Melbourne base for future visits.Posted Oct 25, 2015
Pros: We will choose Pegasus again as we have found a place that suits us. It is welcoming and friendly, of a high standard and is a good day's-end base.
Cons: Nothing, though people have differing ideas and wishes. I'm sure some may be quite interesting in their perceptions of need or delivery when away.
Location: The location is close to all public transport, to the Markets and the central CBD. We had Myki cards for when we were out of the Free Tram area.
We first stayed at Pegasus two years ago and were impressed then. It was still quite new at that stage. In choosing it again, we were happy with everything and on arrival felt the familiarity of 'coming home'. The staff members were welcoming and helpful and our rooms were even more pleasant this trip. To find that we had been upgraded was a unexpected and welcome treat. The foyer and desk areas were always busy, which is a good sign.

Reasonable Apartments, but noisy and dirtyPosted Oct 21, 2015
Pros: Good location, near a playground and park. Lovely bakers a couple of blocks away. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Soundproofing the lifts! Better cleaners.
The apartments are in a reasonable area of Melbourne. We stayed in one of the larger apartments, with 2 bedrooms, bathroom and lounge/diner. The kitchens are adequate for snacks - theres a fridge-freezer and microwave. The beds were reasonably comfortable. Our problem was that the bedrooms adjoin the machine-room for the lifts, so we didn't sleep for the first night, being constantly-woken by banging and clanking We did arrange to change rooms; however it seems that the layout of all the floors is the same, so all the 2-bedroom apartments are close to the lift shaft, so the next apartment wasn't much quieter. The room was not cleaned regularly, or well. Having studied the floor-plan, it seems that the studio apartments and the one-bedroom apartments are on the outer wall of the building, so are away from the lift-shaft; however I would not recommend this if you're looking at the 2-bed apartments. You'll get no sleep.
