Pros: The best part was the service and the breakfast facilities
Cons: We had a room with share bathroom and we were not happy about it, next time we will book one with private bathroom
Location: Locaion was good, central close to lots of things
We would have liked to have a room with private bathroom

Cramped and smallPosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Not much apart it being within close proximity to the MCG
Cons: Larger rooms and less of them. If you're serving a continental breakfast, having croissants with freshly cooked eggs and bacon would go down a treat
Location: All the sporting facilities - MCG, AAMI Park, Rod Laver Arena and fairly close to CBD
Struggled to find a car park. For a Hotel with approximately 60 rooms, 14 car parks is just not sufficient. room was very small. Just big enough for a double bed. View of the other walls and roof sheets of the bar area

Good building, good locationPosted Jul 19, 2015
Very friendly desk staff, with a listed building it had a very quirky layout. Good location for getting into city with nice restaurants close by.

HOSTEL NOT HOTELPosted Jul 8, 2015 on Hotels
I checked in to the hotel to find out that they had me in a shared bathroom. I asked if this was a hostel. Needless to say they moved me to a room with my own bathroom. The room it self was basically like a dungeon, although it did have two windows. The only heat in the room was a space heater which meant it was absolutely FREEZING! Also, You had to pay per hour for the Internet. The good points about this "hotel" we're that the staff was friendly and breakfast was included.

Cosy, friendly atmospherePosted Jul 6, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: The proximity to MCG and CBD, breakfast, bar and general atmosphere.
Cons: The rooms are basic which is fine, I think the beds need an update though.
Location: Short 15 minute walk to MCG, not far from CBD really. Lots of cafes, pubs and shops along the way.
Staff are very happy, friendly and keen to assist. The accommodation is old, but has atmosphere, gorgeous little hide away bar, beautiful lounge area and lovely continental breakfast which is included in the tariff, as is parking. We have stayed twice now and will again as it is good value and close to city.
