What's really responsible for the poor review is the behavior of the maintenance person regarding the ac. He was very rude and obnoxious and should be reprimanded if this is his regular demeanor. He was of Asian decent.

This hotel is very close to the airport and right next door to the pricier Hilton. If you need a cheap and easy options it could suit you. However, the rooms have seen better days. Sound proofing is minimal so we could hear people walking about in the room above us and also the freight railroad which continues to run overnight. The air con units are very noisy so you have to choose between that and getting rather hot at night, The kitchens are handy if you want to cook on stove or microwave with a full size fridge freezer.

Reception is dated and cluttered. There is kitchenette in room but no basics (sugar,salt, pepper, coffee or tea.) Sketchy location with no security. I felt unsafe although nothing unusual happened. Exterior of building is dated and dirty, room was very clean.

I was looking for a decent place to stay for a few days while I was traveling and it suited the purpose just fine. Some of the furniture was pretty run down, and the carpet was wrinkled. Some of the staff were pleasant, some not. The kitchenette was handy. I would probably recommend it as a place to lay your head but maybe not to vacation.
