nice hotel to relax

Posted Dec 21, 2015
Pros: the staff, the pool, the tennis courts, the tennis coach Andrea, excellent !
Cons: more English channels on TV, menus in English.
Location: very limited places to visit outside the hotel. The Tocarema is a "garden of Eden" in an not so pretty town.
excellent staff, clean premises, air conditioning could be less noisy, people from overseas needs to be aware of extra charges for personal insurance, pool was outstanding, i would go back again.

nice traditional place

Posted Nov 15, 2015
Pros: The food is amazing, and the price convenient
Cons: The noise in rooms. They need new doors, windows and carpets.
Location: There is not too much to do, just rest.
The hotel is very well conserved for its age. It is a place very clean and the staff is really good. Excel the service. The food is up to the standard. Its problem is the noise in rooms.

Pros: Food and drinks were excellent. Nature walk areas were nice.
Cons: Modernize the hotel...upgrade rooms..décor, new flooring, bed mattresses, bedding, art. Change the money is the most important aspect of each guest.
Location: Nothing much to do in Girardot...stay at the hotel or travel to the coffee areas nearby.
Hotel is very old and was probably the crown jewel about 20 years ago. Rooms are outdated with old cheap furniture. The bed in our suite was very hard and uncomfortable. Each room in the hotel has white tiles in the room that attracts dirt into the rooms from the pool area and ecological walk areas. The rooms lack color and warmth. The facilities such as the pool are excellent and has very kid friendly areas they can use. The food is excellent in the hotel and I have to say it beats the quality of most of the bigger Bogota chains hands down. Prices for their excellent drinks and food are very reasonable. One thing that bothered me about my stay was that I had to pay for the room upfront at check-in and then at check-out all the meals and additional charges to the room.

Best Secret in Colombia.

If you are looking for a fabulous property in this warm climate area of Colombia, there is no better. The food is very "local Colombian" style and excellent. The ambiance and character of the hotel was delightful.

Muy Mal

Posted Dec 10, 2015 on Hotels
