The property is lovely and such a wonderful location directly beside the old town and the Budva port which is lined with restaurants and a few beach clubs. Our room (3032) was just perfect with a direct sea view as well as of the old town to our left. The infinity pool overlooking the sea was such a relaxing place to spend a day, and just wish we had more time to explore the area better. The breakfast was varied and good, not great. But I’m being picky here with that. Highly recommend this hotel and so glad we chose it. :)

Lighting was poor in the bathroom, the bathroom door would open and actually trapped my wife in it on the one day. It was fixed. Room was of average quality.

Very large and luxurious rooms/suites. Almost too big in a way, but still gives a welcoming feeling. Wonderful views from balconies overlooking the ocean. Amazing breakfast area and overall selection - and really good food and coffee. Will stay again.

We had a pleasant stay at Avala. Our room was wonderful and clean, and certainly exceeded our expectations. Areas for improvement: No signage directing us to where the hotel lot is (we parked at the city lot). Checkin was quick, but lacked any kind of personal touch ( what brings you to Budva?) Etc. The hotel parking lot was a mess. Cars jammed into tiny spots and completely full with nobody directing people where to park. Also, nobody asked even once how our stay was, or how breakfast was. Staff was very quick to try remove plates WHILE we were still eating. Hey, how about simply asking "hello, are you done with that plate". Hotel lacks hospitality, as does most of the country.

Fantastic resort with great facilities
Our stay in Avala was incredible. The room was very spacious and the view from the balcony was fantastic (with Budva old town, and the sea within reach). We spent a good amount of time on the private beach and in the swimming pools, which were both very well maintained. Staffs were friendly and professional, although you might have to queue a bit at the reception as it’s always quite busy. But don’t worry too much about it since the lobby has plenty of seating. There are lots of restaurants / bars with good variety nearby, as the hotel is literally next to the old town.

The private beach and pools were a big plus. Location is great. The staff is nice. The hotel has great facilities however the maintenance of the building and housekeeping are disappointing. The housekeeping standards are still very low even after all the complaints from guests for years, which is a big pity for this beautiful hotel.

Nice hotel, great location
The hotel is in a great location, right on the beach and next to Old Town. Parking was very crowded and some days we had trouble finding a space. The gym and spa facilities are nice but we couldn't get a massage appointment because it was all booked during our stay.

Really not recommend hotel, do yourself a favor and choose another hotel. Horrible service by the staff. I came across a staff with a disgusting attitude and no desire to help, something I had not seen in any other hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, for two days they did not clean the room and did not change towels and did not put toilet paper. Breakfast at a very low level and what is most amazing is that in such a period of Corona virus there is no awareness of the matter. Everyone in the hotel without masks, in the dining room the staff without gloves and masks, all the guests touch one food after another without limit. The safety of guests in all matters relating to the corona virus is not maintained at this hotel.

We had the suite which was multi level and the downstairs were the bed was located was very clean and lovely. The entire downstairs area was updated and clean and absolutely lovely. The living area was spacious but the furniture was dirty. The white sofa and chair were stained and dirty and pretty disgusting so would definitely recommend replacing and switching to a different color other than white. Breakfast was great with lots of options.
