We had never been to Memphis, and I was a little unsure of a place to stay. I read the reviews and was still unsure. I took the chance and booked this place. When we got there, the check-in staff was very nice and polite and friendly. Throughout our whole three days here all the staff were very polite and friendly and helpful.
The room was a little dirty. There was someone else’s trash on the floor but just a little bit. I did pick it up and throw it away. Everything else felt pretty clean. I did see one bug but only one the whole time. The coffee maker (Keurig) in the room did not work, and that was a bummer for my husband. In the morning, there was complementary coffee. But he’s an all day coffee drinker, so he was a little bummed in the evening.
The hotel was within walking distance to Beale Street and other attractions, which made it nice! Also, the public transportation helped. This hotel also had a shuttle that would take you within a 3 mile radius and that was awesome!
Overall I would say it was a good stay. Not luxurious and not fancy, but it was good for what we needed.
