Nice Hotel located downtown

The staff was great! The food was great! Also the location! Right downtown! All of the shuttle drivers were great also! I will stay there again!

Fairly clean, but way overpriced.

Paid nearly $20 a day just to park in hotel parking. Breakfast is advertised as $9 a plate, but it's actually $15. Booked a King bed through Expedia for my wife & I, but ended up having to sleep separately in doubles due to "unavailability". They blamed this on Expedia, but another guest had a similar issue. Updated modern lobby & fairly clean room, but some of our outlets didn't work. Poor lighting, no fan in the tiny bathroom, lighted mirror didnt work. Body wash & conditioner is provided but not shampoo. Location is convenient to downtown & shuttles are available, but I would have much rather paid a little more for another hotel that included parking & breakfast with a nicer room.

We appreciate your candid comments about your stay. Although you liked our location, we are sorry you were unhappy with paying a parking fee; however, parking in the downtown area is in very short supply. We regularly survey rates charged by other hotels in the downtown area and have managed to keep our fee lower than any other hotel. We also try to advise our guests of these charges at the time of booking so no one is surprised when they arrive. We hope rest of your stay was pleasant and hope to see you and your wife again soon. Pros: The staff was great. The hotel was clean. The free shuttle was the best!
Location: Location was a bit removed from the things we wanted to do downtown but their free shuttle was great!!!
Staff was incredibly friendly, personable and helpful.

Mediocre hotel

We had hoped for a nice stay in Memphis, but it just wasn't so. I had booked this hotel a couple weeks in advance, and had requested a higher floor/quieter room, facing downtown. I let them know that our flight would not be landing until after midnight. When we arrived, at 1am, our room was not ready. The clerk was very helpful and found us a room, on the second floor. Unfortunately, that's about the same level as/ and facing the freeway, meaning we got to listen to cars driving by all night. These things alone, weren't horrible. The worst part was the maid service. There were 2 of us, so you'd think they'd refresh the shampoo and conditioner daily. This is not the case. Morning 1, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner. Morning 2, nothing. I scraped through what was left, my wife did not wash her hair. I made sure to let them know we needed replenishing. We got home later that day and noticed they gave us new products. Morning 3, we were leaving very early and we're in a bit of a hurry. Jump in the shower and realize they gave us a body wash (for the first time) and a conditioner. Really? I would think it's pretty easy to replenish all products, every day, in every room. Apparently, that is not important here. There are too many hotels in this area to put yourself through any of this. As a side note...the majority of the staff we encountered were very courteous.

Good view from my room!

The room was larger than expected from another recent stay in Memphis at another hotel. It was very roomy, updated, and very clean. Very friendly staff. Heater unit worked great! Bathroom was very updated and clean. Not much dresser drawer room to put your clothes if your staying for a longer period of time. I was there for only one night, so I didn't use the drawers. The only negative I can say was the bar down in the lobby was very expensive! I got a shot of tequila and it cost me $10! I've been to some expensive places before, but never had to pay that much! The bar tender took off in the back room when I asked for a receipt and I couldn't wait as my Uber driver showed up as I had an appointment to make. I feel like she fleeced me! Stay away from the bar!

Wouldn't recommend

We stayed at this hotel bc it was close to st. Jude's however when we arrived, we realized there was no valet parking, only self parking, which you had to pay a nightly fee for. After check in, we went to the elevators to find they both were broken so we had to climb 5 flights of stairs every time which you have to go outside the building, through the fire exit, to get to the stairs. The breakfast was good but you could tell things were reheated from the day before. The staff was friendly but I would not stay here again.

Nice location with friendly staff

Good location! They provide a shuttle to Beale Street. Shuttle driver was really nice and provides you his card for your return trip. It ran every 20 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.
