Even tho Expedia says 18+ to book and pay for the room we could not check in because it is 21 to check in. Expedia should not let someone younger than 21 book and pay for the room unless they are able to check in. #falseadvertising

Great last minute choice

Great experience. No problems until check out when the clerk didnt give me a receipt. I was told to check my email for a receipt, which I still haven't received. But the restaurant food was delicious and plentiful. The bed slept great and that view...NICE. Will definitely return.

Do not stay here

Cons: Deal with the moisture issue
Location: Not a great location
Crowne plaza should be ashamed. There was mold in the hallway. It smelled musty the carpet was damp and the wall paper was peeling off the wall. We had an adjoining room and it sounded like the guests ( not traveling with us) were in the bed next to us. Listened to coughing and sex all nite. When addressing these issues with front desk staff , she stated she would make note of it, with no offer of compensation.obvious why these rooms are discounted. Stay away!

Not anywhere near a four star

Pros: Front desk staff are friendly and pleasant but clearly get complaints about the cleaning and rooms a lot.
Cons: Total renovation!
Location: Lenny's Subs near the hotel is a decent quick meal.
So this hotel is terribly disappointing. I'll start positive. The hotel front desk staff are great. Unfortunately, that is the lone compliment. We had to change rooms twice because the rooms had not been cleaned or half way cleaned. Dust and trash was in the room and we found that the carpet was not even vacuumed and had food still on the floor. The hotel is in desperate need of repairs and remodeling. From the potholes in the parking lot, the banged up elevators, to the carpets with tons of stains, tears, and smell. The drapes are ripped and stained. I could go on and on about the dilapidated rooms, but just be aware! This is a Red Roof Inn quality room!

Nice hotel

Pros: Price, cleanliness, indoor pool, great breakfast
Location: plenty of places to eat, get gas, get back on the road
We were only stopping for the night...so we wanted fairly cheap, safe & decent. This hotel was a lot nicer than we expected. Some parts need updating but it looked like there were in the process of doing just that. At first we weren't sure if we were in a shady part of town or not but the hotel was gated and well lit.

Nice hotel. Close to stadium

We were several hours ahead of check in time but we're able to get to our room right then. Room was more than adequate. Complimentary breakfast was good! The staff were by far the friendliest, most accommodating folks you could ask for! They definitely made our stay more enjoyable!

Liberty Bowl Highlight

Pros: Location.
We were there for the 2016 Liberty Bowl. Our team lost so the Hotel was a highlight. Convenient location off of 1-240 so could easily get to Stadium and Beale Street. Thought it was a rough neighborhood due to security fence and motorized gate after-hours. Liquor Store a few blocks away is one of those secure setups where they don't let customers close to the merchandise or cashiers. Learned later there are lots of those set ups around Memphis. Breakfast buffet was decent if boring--same items the two days we ate there. The hotel was booked solid the three days we were there and there was plenty of secure parking. Room was clean and had to request additional washcloths and towels. Bed very comfortable. Outside of sleeping, we spent very little time at the hotel.
