The street noise, loud cars and motorcycles, was unexpected. Having lived in downtowns in a few large cities noise was expected, but wow, even on the 8th floor.

Home Run.. Thank you for your recent stay and your out of the park review. Our location is ideal adjacent to the AutoZone Baseball Park home of the Memphis Redbirds and steps from the famous Beale Street Entertainment District. Tell all your friends and come again real soon.
Everything was good except valet parking they only had one person working and we had to wait 30 minutes just to get our car to leave to go shopping

The hotel was close to the fedex forum, so it was very convenient to walk to. We didn’t know that there wasn’t any parking and that we would have to pay $32 for valet. The only issue we had with the room itself was that the tub drained really slowly, so we were standing in dirty water up to our ankles while we were showering.

No self parking on site. Valet with off-site parking with an extra $32 cost. No safe or refrigerator in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not complimentary but the food was good and not terribly priced. Room and facilities were clean. Several pieces of equipment in the small gym area were not in working order.

There were several ceiling areas that were bulging and appeared to have water damage. Our bathroom door didnt close properly. The bathtub appeared dirty and the sink didnt drain properly. We visited 3 years ago and were happier with our stay then as far as the conditions. However all the staff was pleasant.

We were going in to the bar for take out and drink. Ended up staying for 2 hours. Great entertainment by Tiffany and Shaun was a fabulous equally entertaining bartender! Terrific drinks. Food was also yummy.

The lack of water and hot water was very difficult. We arrived Thursday night. Beginning around 8:00 AM on Friday, hot water was unavailable. Whether it was the hotel or the city, we were never sure or told.

The city of Memphis did have freezing temperatures for over a week that cause city water lines to freeze thus causing issues for all businesses in the downtown area. We do hope you will give us another opportunity to provide you with excellent customer service.
No water, couldn't shower or use toilet for a whole day. Then cold water only. Tv wouldn't stay on channel and then would not go to guide kept cycling to accessing.

Lots of misses
We were moved quickly when we reported we had no hot water. That original room was cramped and not well cared for. Valet took 45 min to bring a car. They also brought up wrong cars for people. It was a busy game day but 45 min is unacceptable. Others were waiting that, too. On checkout the wrong car was brought up. When our car was brought the contents were strewn all over the rear trunk and a flag on side of car was broken off. That was not how it was when we returned it the previous night. The parking fee and incidentals fee was completely misleading. It would be nice to update rooms w refrigerators and microwaves. What I rented in NO way matched the pictures on their website. I was told by a staff member that the website has another Memphis location and uses those marketing photos. I’m very disappointed to have this experience at a Doubletree.

This place could be really nice with some renovations. The bathrooms need some serious work. Room was not cleaned and had to request towels. Valets were sitting inside and did not move when we pulled up even though they saw us unloading bags. Had to walk in and ask them to come out before any effort was made.
