My experience with the Extended Stay Appletree in Memphis Tennessee was a very very excellent experience I really enjoy the service they gave me everything was just awesome

Pretty good for the night

The night clerk was a bit spacey, and my room needed some repairs. But it wad also very clean and the ladies that I checked out with were fabulous.

WHEN I ARRIVED THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS CHECKING IN ANOTHER GUEST WHO DID NOT HAVE RESERVATIONS. HER WHITE SHIRT WAS STAINED AND DIRTY SO WAS THE GREEN SWEATER SHE WORE. SHE INITIALLY TOLD ME SHE DIDN'T SEE MY RESERVATIONS THEN WHEN SHE FOUND IT SHE SAID SHE ONLY SAW ONE ROOM. SHE LOOKED SOME MORE AND FINALLY FOUND THE OTHER ROOM THEN PROCEEDED TO TELL ME SHE DID NOT HAVE ANY ROOMS AVAILABLE EVEN THOUGH I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR MY ROOMS IN ADVANCE. SHE DID OFFER TO CALL A SISTER HOTEL TO CHECK ON ROOMS FOR ME BUT INSTEAD OF ASKING IF THEY HAD 2 ROOMS AVAILABLE BECAUSE MY ROOMS WHERE GIVING AWAY SHE ASKED THE OTHER HOTEL IF THEY HAD A BIG CROWD???? WHO CARES I NEED TO KNOW IF THEY HAVE ROOMS OR NOT!!!! FINALLY SHE GOT TO THE REASON FOR THE CALL AND WE WERE ABLE TO GET ROOMS ELSEWHERE. THIS WAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!! LESSON LEARNED EVEN IF YOU PAY FOR YOUR ROOMS THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT THEY WILL BE AVAILABLE WHEN YOU ARRIVE WITH THIS HOTEL.

For the low price I can't complain. It was a cheaper hotel but what can you expect with a $50/night rate.

Nice room. Wifi pretty spotty. Phone in room didn't work. Geared towards, duh, extended stayers. Except for wifi, good for the price.

Worst Experience Ever

They make you put down a $100 cash deposit since you are booking through Hotels.com . They didn't give me my deposit back because they said my room smelled smoke. My husband and I do not smoke. I asked Jayde if she could inspect the room with us in it & she said no. Customer service was horrible . Not mention the nasty room. There was dirt & dead spiders/bugs in my shower. We only stayed here because everything else was booked. NEVER AGAIN.
