Wedged in nicelyPosted Jul 17, 2016
Pros: The apartment style living, the roominess for our family. The aspect of being social and carrying out that theme with the staff and events.
Cons: My wife stated to me that it seemed the Breakfast staff was not as cheery as would have liked. That extra push in morning some need instead of coffee
Location: It appeared that we were away, but was able to do Zoo, Mud Island and Beale Street and not hassle with smaller, higher priced units closer.
Location. A little challenging to navigate the one-ways and the ramps, but was able to get in. Exiting was more of a challenge to get out from as traffic came from up over the hill and the angle of the exit had me stretched back. But it was the placement of this establishment - wedged in between two high rise hotel units that made it unique. Apartment type feel with the room we needed for our size family - eight. Positive ladies at the desk - I enjoyed the friendly banter - I WISH to remember their names - but outgoing ladies none the less (07/13 night check-in if that helps). Our family ended up having other visits scheduled, but would have loved to partake in the evening social. Having to wait out rain one morning, it was difficult to find stations on television, as the directory did not line up with the stations (even channel markers were not changed) - possibly having changed satellite providers. For the kids, it was a lack of 'toon' channels that made them frustrated, even though the intention of being there was not to watch TV. Small down side with allergy inflicted kids, dusting was in need above the headboard and the picture frames - little heavy in spots.

Memphis TripPosted Mar 23, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel is in a nice area, kind of hard to get into the parking lot, but once you do its easy to get back in. Most of our sight seeing was in Memphis and it was 20-25 minutes away. The food in the area is a wide variety. My issue was the housekeeping crew; after our first day, we came back to the bath and kitchen area counter tops and fixtures had not been touched, nor had the small floor in the kitchen been swept. We brought it to their attention and the 2nd day it happened again. We are pretty old school and usually tip our house keepers, they did not get much from us this trip.

Very nice for a brief stay (at least for us it wasPosted Jan 26, 2016
Pros: Location, quality and cleanliness
Cons: Better coffee in the rooms and better coffee maker
Location: Plenty of shopping, however know that this is entering an affluent area of Memphis and some of the shops are not for every budget.
The hotel is a little tricky to enter so it would be good to study a road map if entering the property from the west. The girl working the counter was very sweet and helpful, but I had to wait while she dealt with some drama from another employee. Probably should have been done out of the presence of guests. The room was very comfortable. The only complaint was that the coffee pot did not fit into the coffee maker, and the coffee was of low quality. It would have been nice to have a name brand product in the room. The bed was comfortable and linens were clean. It was very well laid out and was in very good overall condition. The breakfast bar was clean, well laid out and had plenty for any appetite. The waffle irons were operational and the batter was resupplied in a timely manner. The waffles for a hit with all quests. The fruit toppings were fresh and tasty. The hot breakfast may not have suited every taste, but with everything else offered, it was adequate.

Stay was great. Breakfast could have been a little better. Boiled eggs and less pork.

Good: Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms. Bad: Despite conveniently being right off a highway exit, it was hard to figure out how to access the hotel, and then difficult/dangerous to exit the hotel onto a busy avenue. Also, while the staff was great trying to help us access the wifi, we never had a clear/strong enough signal to get online.
