All was great on the property. The only negative was the concrete plant next to the property and the noise from the trucks starting early in the morning.

I loved that it was extra clean, the staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast was very good.

I didnt like the surrounding location of Hotel. This area didnt feel safe and required security in gated area.

Let me first start off by saying that I am from Memphis. I can provide facts as well as give my honest opinion about this hotel and my experience. I recently moved away and I had to return to Memphis briefly on business. LaQuinta Inn isn’t located in the BEST area. Let’s be honest. Is there really a great area anywhere nowadays? It’s located in what a lot of Memphians would describe as “urban” (for lack of better words). However, I can truly say that my stay was absolutely WONDERFUL! Although my room had a STRONG bleach smell, it was clean. The room was older than most hotels, but I guess it’s a trade given the cost of the hotel stay. I had a really nice comfortable King size bed FREE of bed bugs. I guess that’s a plus due to the bed bug outbreak in some hotels (even the very high end ones). They offered a complimentary breakfast. I didn’t get any so I can’t rate my experience with that. The staff was nice and professional. They are located next to a really good Mexican restaurant. The food was amazing and the drinks aren’t watered down. Again, although it’s located in a “bad” neighborhood, there was absolutely no suspicious activity at or around that hotel. I will give it 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks LaQuinta Inn for your service!
