This hotel was awesome. Very close to Beal street. The roof top bar was awesome. Already recommended this hotel to friends. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel friendly staff, close to downtown

Posted Jul 17, 2017
Great hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very close to downtown. Just a few blocks away from Beal St. only down side was no parking. It's valet parking only so it's another $29 a day. But would definitely stay again.

Swanky

Posted Jul 17, 2017
Pros: The view, the décor, the staff - the whole package.
Cons: More towels- even we don't use them, it would have been nice to have an extra. More shower gel also. There wasn't much in the container.
Location: The location was perfect. The Mississippi is right across the street. The hotel between two bridges that are lit up at night! easy stroll to music
This hotel was beautiful! Check in was easy, the staff was very nice and often inquired if we needed anything during our stay, the rooms were nicely decorated, the linens and beds were very comfortable, the rooftop bar was breathtaking! We went up 3 times, 1- to scope it out, 2- to watch the sunset and 3- to relax and look at the lights before bedtime. The only deficit is that it would have been nice to have two shower gels for the shower because I used the first one not realizing there wasn't anymore. The lobby was really beautiful also. I spent a few minutes waiting in the lobby while two little girls knocked out spectacular music on the grand piano. What a treat!!!! My own private concert. This hotel was definitely a treat!

Great Spot in Downtown Memphis

Posted Jul 8, 2017
Easy to find. Close to the magnificent Mississippi for an after stroll and then in to Beal Street for beers and music. Hotel has a nice vibe to it. The best roof top view of a sunset of any hotel we've stayed at. Also suggest trying the Flying Fish restaurant a couple of blocks away. Basically a cafe but with fantastic fish dishes and great (cheap) Ice cold draught beer. Sun Studios was a personal highlight of our Memphis trip. It's small and quick tour but you really feel the history and great tour guide. Make sure you use the free shuttle from outside the Rock & Soul Museum

It seems as if you had a great time in Memphis. You enjoyed some of my favorite spots -- flying fish and Sun Studios. The shuttle from Rock and Soul is a great way of getting to Sun Studios and Graceland. I hope we see you again. Thank you for staying with us.

Great visit

Posted Jul 6, 2017
Pros: Convenience, cleanliness, and professionalism of staff.
Cons: All seemed to be in good order.
Location: A visit to the Bass Pro Shop (Pyramid) is excellent. Graceland is close and worth visiting. Beale Street is just a few blocks away.
The Madison wasn't our first choice, but friends who live in Memphis suggested that we would really enjoy our stay there, and we did. The hotel is very clean, the staff is highly professional and helpful, and the room was in excellent order. It is within walking distance of some very good restaurants and their own restaurant is also quite good. We will stay there again.

Trendy and original hotel in Memphis !

Posted Jun 9, 2017
Pros: Everything!
Location: Enjoy the Memphis blues night scene!
This hotel completely surprised us! It was cool and hip and rock n' roll from the moment you walk into the hotel. Concierge service was spectacular1 they helped us park our big truck with trailer hauling our jeep! The decor is so neat! There's art and pop culture everywhere you turn! Even in elevators! Whoever decorated this place deserves an award for creativity and originality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's walking distance to the blues bars. It was a perfect one-night stay!

Nice hotel with great staff.

Got off to a rough start. Room wasn't ready at check-in time, but they compensated with restaurant credit, which was great. Overall, great stay.
