Great location, great staff

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room met all of our needs. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to Beale Street, the River Park and Gus's Chicken. The Civil Rights Museum was a just a trolley ride away. The next time we find ourselves in Memphis, we'll be staying at the Residence Inn Downtown.

Great place to stay in Memphis!

Pros: Everything!
Location: Downtown Memphis and walking distance to Beale St. Lots of restaurants in the area.
Just a short walk to Beale St. Staff is superb and the rooms are very nice, good size, very clean, updated and comfortable. I'd stay here again and highly recommend it!

The hotel staff and room was amazing!! From the time we walked in until we checked out, it was my bachelorette weekend. We had the 2 bedroom suite at the end of the hall! Clean, spacious and fully stocked! Dish washer, refrigerator, oven, stove. Real plates, spoons and forks! I'll definitely be staying here again.

Worth the price

It was amazing being in the penthouse and even the roof had a outdoor patio and grilling area. The free food and drinks as complementary was awesome.

A Visit with Relatives

Visiting relatives for Thanksgiving holiday in Germantown. The hotel was great. The hotel has no restaurant, but there are places to eat near by and many restaurants deliver to your room. The manager is very good here. She is always available and friendly.

No Room at the Inn........

Booked with Expedia, reservation guaranteed! NOT! Phoned day before for late arrival for 2 couples.After 10 hour flight we arrived at 11 pm to find out we had no room, overbooked was the story. They bumped us to their sister hotel the Sleep Inn up the street and picked up the tab for the rooms and taxied us over. We were tired, hungry and sad. Doubly sad as this was the other couples first air travel and we had booked the hotel and air. Flight was good...hats off to UNITED. In the end we moved back to the hotel the next day BUT it did set an unnecessary tone to our first couple of days in Memphis. We may have felt a bit better if the hotel had bought us supper or something but we are from Canada, didn't raise a big ruckus and are too nice.
