Be afraid; be very, very afraid

Where do I begin? I do not normally write so much about a place, but this place warrants EVERY bit of detail possible. I am not a picky traveller, so this account speaks volumes about the absolutely horrendous experience at this hotel. I should have known the place would be horrific when I saw the combat-ready plexiglass dividing me and the check-in staff, that reportedly had been there since the new management took over. There was ONE thin towel with holes in it. There were curly hairs (wonder what part of the body THEY came from) in the tub. The bathroom floor was grungy. The toilet had apparently not been cleaned well since the last time someone used it, with remnants of the last usage still in the bowl (diarrhea?). Thank heavens I brought a can of Lysol with me! There were a couple of holes in the bedspread. The security latch was broken off. There was tape stuck to the desk, which apparently housekeeping didn't see fit to clean off. The room was noisy, not only because of the frequent trains passing by, but also because management saw fit to YELL in the hallway to the person they were helping at 12:30 a.m. with a replacement bedspread. The ONLY reason I even stayed was because I was too exhausted to try to find another place. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU RUN AWAY FROM ANY THOUGHT OF RESERVING A ROOM AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!
