Disappointed that there was no parking attendant to give direction where to park or that the front desk did not tell us either. Hotel staff eating their dinners at the hotel bar, and front desk. Didn't seem professional. Check out agent not personable at all

Ok room, great location

Posted Oct 26, 2016
The room did not have enough lighting. There was no light in the closet. There was mold under the sink. With the sink area directly exposed to the beds, one could not get up without waking the other. The little kitchen and sitting area were nice. The staff was nice and breakfast was great. The location was great too.

Ok hotel, priced to high.

Posted Oct 25, 2016
We had a 2 room suite with a couch, had to put a sheet on the couch to sit on it, it was very old and stained & not comfortable. Had to park in a garage 2 blocks away & charged $15.00 + tax each day for parking. On a good note The bed was very comfortable & the breakfast was good. Overall I feel the price was too high. They need to do some updates on this place to be charging this price! Also let people know about the parking situation ahead of time, it is an inconvenience & if the weather is bad it would really be bad to deal with.

Dear Dave, Thank you for your comments concerning your recent stay. I apologize that you were not completely satisfied with your accommodations. I will pass your comments along to the appropriate departments. We provide both valet and self parking. All of the downtown hotels charge for parking and our rates are very competitive with the other hotels. We have our parking information on our website.

Great location, but small, disjointed room

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Location: Terrific location, with lots of restaurants within walking distance.
The location of this hotel is terrific -- walking distance to everything downtown. However, the room we received was not the room I reserved -- we were given a one queen/sofa bed "suite" instead of a two queen suite. Being exhausted from traveling, we didn't switch rooms and stuck with what we were given. However, the room was too cramped. Odd layout, with the bathroom jutting out into the middle of the room, creating terrible traffic "flow" when the sofa bed was laid out. Won't be returning. The staff, however, was very pleasant, and they always had a car waiting for us when it was requested.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, great location

Posted Aug 31, 2016
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: The lobby coffee station needed some attention.
Location: Nice selection of restaurants within walking distace of the hotel at all price points.
Hotel staff were very friendly from the front desk to housekeeping to the breakfast area team. This hotel has easy access to the local trolley that runs on Main street and convenient to get to Beale Street and to the Civil Rights Museum at the site of the Lorraine Hotel. There is a Riverfront trolley that will goes along the Mississippi river with stops at the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid, Arcade restaurant, Blue Monkey restaurant, etc. For $1.00, the trolley is a bargain. You can get a 3 day pass for $9.00.

Great location for walking to Beale Street. Comfortable. Staff not friendly. Dining area for breakfast is too small in comparison to size of hotel and awkwardly organized. Coffee should have a completely different station from the food. Nice, but I would not stay here again.
