Delightful and charming innPosted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: The room and bathroom were beautiful. The hot breakfast was good. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Cons: A lick of paint outside and if possible remove the washing machine and vacuum cleaner from the back porch which is the first sight on arrival.
Location: The location is good to go to Mendocino. There is a really good bar, the Tap Room, just down the road serving excellent food and craft beers.
The area of Fort Bragg is a bit run down but perfect for visiting Mendocino. We were disappointed when we pulled up to the hotel as the outside could do with a lick of paint but this changed when we went inside. It is beautiful inside, filled with antiques and so tastefully decorated. The attention to detail in the Oasis room was just mind boggling. How the owner managed to find so many pieces that compliment each other is a mystery. Finding a place that does a decent breakfast was also a surprise as most hotels seem to do very little.

Nice B&B close to downtown and beachPosted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable rooms.
Cons: The towels in the bathroom smelled musty as if they had not been used or washed for a bit.
Location: This location is within walking distance of downtown where there are many shops and restaurants. The famous Glass Beach is also about 2-3 blocks away.
The owner of the facility is extremely friendly and helpful. She was able to tell us about the area including places to eat and things to do/see. She had menus for many if not all the restaurants in the area. The breakfast in the morning was very delicious.

Loved this little B and B! Call ahead if you plan to arrive later than 6. We chose the Garden Room so our bathroom was in the hallway. Different but not too bad. Great place, loved the food, and the atrium was very relaxing.

Great location, BUT !Posted Jul 16, 2014 on Hotels
We stayed in the Buttercup room...think Cruise ship sized room. It was warm, and with no room fan, we had to leave the windows open. Double bed, is passed need, of replacement. Street noise, did not allow a continuous nights sleep. Food was excellent. Would try for the Quilt room next time...down stairs, on the rear of the north building.
