Just beautiful! Everything you expect a quaint B&B to be. Spotless, accommodating, welcoming, room is lovely. Every detail has been taken care of. We love it!

We had a wonderful Christmas at the Headlands Inn! Everything was top-notch! The room was amazing (Strauss room), very comfortable, with beautiful views of the stormy ocean and the town. We would love to return!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable and it was incredibly quiet all night until daylight (which in early November is late!). The host was very friendly and showed us a couple of the other rooms, they are all equally lovely. The location is a close walk to everything in town. If you open the window you can even hear the surf crashing in the distance.

My husband, my 2yo, and I stayed there for one night. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating given that we had a toddler! Our room was beautiful and cozy; we loved the fireplace, and the little touches like a rubber ducky in the tub for our daughter to enjoy during bath. The location is superb, easy walk to the beach and right in the town. It’s right in front of a park with swings, which our daughter enjoyed. Rest assured, this is really meant for no kids since it’s super quiet and peaceful, but we so appreciate that it worked well for us for a quick night. Best part was easily the delish breakfast! Beautifully laid out with fresh fruit, and milk alternatives to go with our coffee. Thanks for a great stay!

A Victorian property updated whilst retaining period charm. The room was of a good size with a comfortable bed and bathroom with all mod cons. The breakfast was fine and brought to the room. The downside if a period property was the creaks and groans of the wooden floors as people moved around and the lack of soundproofing. Also, no TV. However I would be happy to return.

Pleasant, efficient owner and staff. Location right in center of town. Well appointed rooms. Our room was not in main building of inn, but a half block away in a separate building. It was still a charming room with a semiprivate deck that made the room more expansive than its actual size. Happy we stayed there.

Old Victorian home w/ character. Cozy and charming. Well maintained for its age. No TV so take a tablet or laptop for streaming entertainment. Good breakfast in bed. John the owner is courteous and helpful. If you prefer firm bed, it's soft and lumpy.

I guess this will be a special place for us moving forward! We had literally the best honeymoon ever! The breakfast was amazing, we used the fireplace and even were gifted a half bottle of wine for our super special occasion. The keepers made everything feel homie and exceptional!

Relaxing get away
It was evident the property was maintained with love. The hosts were pleasant and efficient. But best of all was the amazing breakfast delivered to our room. Highly recommend this lovely place.

My wife and I chose Headlands Inn because it is close to Russian Gulch State Park and we wanted to hike there. We chose "The Hideaway" which is around the corner from the Inn. It was like having our own little private bungalow. Inside was cozy and warm. Continental breakfast was great, more than adequate since we didn't want too heavy before our hike.

Fun Trip
I am extremely fussy about cleanliness. The Inn overall was clean - but I have a hard time with soiled carpets and furniture. Although I imagine it is hard to keep up with a continued flow of guests. Staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were outstanding. Bed was very high so a bit difficult for me to get into. Featherbed under sheets left a lump in the middle so make bed a bit uncomfortable. Overall all though I would rate 9.5 out of 10 and would go back.

Personable staff took care of our needs. Charming decor and special bench sitting at windows which open to fresh air and beautiful views. Love the old antiques and old decor and linens. Serve an out-of-ordinary breakfast which staff brings to your room. Parlor treats in the afternoon are pleasing touch.

Great location and view. Breakfast was enjoyable. The Stofle room is adjacent to the main entry door. So you can hear the front door opening and closing. Condition of room was good.

Fabulous gem
Amazing! Just perfect for my birthday- the room was the essence of a B&B, Victorian ambiance perfectly decorated with tapestry style bedspread and the working fireplace, the breakfast measures up to any top restaurant, location is great in the heart of town but still sees the sea. Our stay at the Headlands was relaxing, comfortable and lovely. The breakfast, which was delivered each morning promptly at 9, was stellar! The bed was luxuriously comfortable and the view from the Barry room was delightful.

So unimpressed I paid, but didn’t stay
So unimpressed with this place even though I never ended up staying here after seeing one of there off site rooms. The complaint comes more from the subsequent handling of my complaints and just ignoring the customer, so long as they got paid. It’s clear the owner or manager thinks they know better than the customer and doesn’t appreciate constructive feedback.Good luck if you decide to stay here. I hope they put on a better face in the future.
