Wilson RoomPosted Sep 17, 2014
Incredible breakfast , our room had a deck and wood burning stove . Only down side is the shower, poor pressure and shower head needs to be raised. I would recommend it.

Bed and Breakfast in MendocinoPosted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Peaceful, cozy, one block from shopping and eating; breakfast.
Location: Near a few blocks of shopping and eating places, some casual and some more city-like. There is an emphasis on healthy eating. It is 10 miles from Fort
We stayed in the cottage on the property which was very comfortable with a fireplace. It is within walking distance of the main part of Mendocino, short drives to hiking trails and ocean views. The breakfasts, which are brought to your room are AMAZING. The hosts are very helpful. Very good restaurants within walking distance. This is a quiet and lovely place to stay to get the full experience of being in a small town on the pacific coast; a throwback to the 60's!

Outstanding!Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: (see above)
Location: The Mendocino area provides a wonderful respite from the busy world.
The Headlands Inn exceeded our expectations. We are seniors and have traveled a lot so when we say it was one of the very best accommodations we have experienced, those comments come from a vast amount of experience! Their breakfasts are just fabulous. The location is wonderful for leaving the car parked and walking through the town.

Beautifully quaintPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: The furnishings in our room at the top of the house were beautiful
Cons: Perhaps a kettle in the room for morning coffee
Location: Right in Mendocino by the sea, but very quiet
Mendocino is a beautiful town, very quaint and Headlands is the same. Old fashioned but in a lovely way with sherry and afternoon tea. Breakfast in the room was very special.

Quiet B&B in Quaint Village by the SeaPosted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: The peaceful environment.
Location: Village of Mendocino and the Alexander Valley plus river activities and sea gazing.
Restorative stay in a Victorian retreat where the hosts have seen to every need and cook wonderful breakfasts! Luxuriate in the delightful featherbed while listening to the birds sing outside your window! Just what the doctor ordered for destressing and unplugging from your crazy schedule!

The Headlands Inn is a lovely, historical building with great gardens. The breakfasts are amazing. The staff is very helpful and aware of special events going on in town and nearby. The rooms are spacious and bright.
