They have upgraded since we were here last. Definitely nicer. Breakfast was awesome. My only complaint is the beds are still hard :(

It was clean for a beach hotel and the pool was in excellent condition for the kiddies. Staff was very nice and helpful with anything we needed. Breakfast was very good for a hotel breakfast!

We were so impressed with the value of our stay at the Seabird. The breakfast was real food, the room was incredibly clean, and it is at a central location. Although some of the furniture is slightly dated, I would suggest this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

This is our families second visit to Seabird Lodge. With a 7 year old boy, a place with pool, hot tub and a free breakfast is always a WIN. This place checks those boxes and is such a convenient location to many local attractions in the area. WALKABLE: Noyo Harbor for dining options, as well as whale watching or charter fishing trips Safeway for drinks and snacks to have in the room Bluffs and Beach across the street We haven't attempted, but this place is only a few blocks from the small Cinema and downtown area DRIVE ABLE: Skunk Train rides or rail bikes Mendocino town Point Cabrillo Lighthouse Glass Beach It's a clean little place with everything you need. The sheriff station is right behind, giving a feel of safety. There are restaurants nearby (pizza or Mexican or pizza) in addition to the options in the harbor. The pool is indoor and heated and feels nice to swim after a day of exploring. The hot tub is a pleasant area to relax. The breakfast is early and has a few good options. We all found something to enjoy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, love this place. We will definitely stay again when going to Fort Bragg area.

stinks bad of dog piss
room was disgusting, it wreaked of dog urine, i requested a different room and was told it would be $180 to move rooms. manager was extremely rude, hidden fees. they advertise as pet friendly but don’t warn customers every room is pet friendly. breakfast hours is a lie, it’s open from 7-8:30. so many better options in town that are much more affordable. i would not recommend this location to anyone.

Unfortuantely your stay with us was very short because of your actions and led to the police being called. There are no hidden fees and our breakfast time is as posted 6:30-8:30am. We would appreciate you not returning with the disrespectful/threatening coments you made directed at our staff. While there are other options in town we would hope you treated them with more respect then you did with us.

Stayed here Thanksgiving weekend with family and dogs. Reserved 2 adjoining rooms. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Centrally located to all our activities such as hiking and the headlands, watching the sunset and close to Seaglass beach. 10 minutes north of Mendocino.

Too bad breakfast wasn’t good. I got down to breakfast 1:2 hour before it ended. Lots of people came in after me. There was no milk for cereal and the hot food servers were empty. I told the man helping and he said he was thawing milk and he knew the hot food was gone! Unbelievable!

We reserved 4 adjacent rooms for our party of 10. After checking in we went out to dinner only to come back and realize that there was only power in the bathrooms and entry light. So no tvs or microwaves or room light. In 4 rooms! We wernt given an option to switch rooms either.

A comfortable place to stay :-)
My husband and I went on a weekend trip to Fort Bragg to go on the Skunk Train Rail Bikes. We stayed at the Seabird Lodge. The Seabird Lodge was excellent. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the continental breakfast was very nice. We definitely would recommend the Seabird Lodge. And we will be coming back again.

The staff was awesome, and rooms were clean but the bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. The gap around the door was pretty substantial where you could see the light of the outside world, and I could fit 4 credit cards in the gap. you could hear everyone outside as if the door was open. Not much sound dampening from the rooms next to you, or the walking/stomping of the floor above you. I feel like it was only a slight upgrade from sleeping on the ground. Overall pretty disappointed, the desk staff were great though.

Dirty. Cheap. Nice employees
Definitely not clean. Probably one of the dirtiest I've stayed at. Crusted food on floor, someones bright pink hair tie. Every corner of every room had hair, bugs, dirt. Moved the coffee pot and there was hair and like dried up grass under it. Big stands of hair too, nothing someone could accidentally miss if they had wiped the counter or vacuumed the floor. The vanity was definitely not wiped between visitors. Bedside table drawer was full of crumbs / dirt. And I'm not talking about a little dust or something small either. Pool was filthy with hair and paper garbage. The floor was so thin every step sounded like a bang. Pros: Employees seemed nice and helpful. Cheap Breakfast included
