Good location

Pros: The location is great. The food in the restaurant was nice quality. The staff near the pool and spa area were noticeably more engaged and helpful.
Cons: Restaurant service.
Location: Located one block from San Martin and Sarmiento - everything was close.
We found the Sheraton in Mendoza to be impersonal. We stayed over a week and it was only in our final two days that the wait staff treated us as if they recognized us. Surfaces in the room were not clean; smears on desk-top and the cabinet where the refrigerator was located. Carpet was old. None of the young people working in the lobby offered any assistance with doors or luggage.

Very average. Definitely not a 4.5 star hotel

It was a disappointing experience. Hotel is nice an pleasant however the staff lack standard hospitality practices and this hotel should not be considered 4.5 star

Well located hotel. Friendly and helpful personnel make our stay enjoyable. Good and plenty buffet breakfast.

Better option than Park Hyatt

Friendly staff, central Location, great views and confortavle rooms. The only thing I did not like, was the fact that between the bathroom and bedroom, there is a glass wall. If you have to use the bathroom at noght, you either have to do it in the dark or if you turn the lights on, it will definately bother the other person that are sleeping. In fact, this glass wall serves to nothing. To remedy the situation at a less cost, If I were the GM, I would peovide some shutters for that window.

Relaxing stay, wonderful reception staff

Pros: I really liked how helpful the reception team where - so helpful and responded well to every request! Room was comfortable, well appointed
Cons: Maintenance in rooms - soap holder loose, door to shower had makeshift repairs but still didn't sit straight Minibar far too expensive TV fuzzy
I had a 3 night stay at the hotel, which included a lovely view from my room. Wonderful room, wonderful bathroom, great location for a stay in Mendoza... so much of the beautiful city is in walking distance of the hotel. Loved the helpfulness of staff at reception. The team were fantastic with any question or query we had and spoke English elegantly. More hotels should try to find helpful staff who warmly welcome guests as they did at Sheraton Mendoza. I don't understand why the restaurant on the top floor isn't open all day to serve wine and snacks given its impressive view. Very annoying, although the reception team were able to organise a suitable alternative for us.

An oasis in warm Mendoza
