Convenient for conference,

Pros: Location
Cons: There seem to be a lot of long term guests from Silicon Valley firms which limits availability
Location: Easy access to Stanford Medical Center. University and shopping center.
Stayed here before. Renovated rooms. Bed linen was scratchy. Room close to busy road with no availability for change. Front desk staff helpful

A very good option in Palo Alto with ample parking space. Business center offered only one desktop. Swimming pool was not maintained.

Very nice room with polite, attentive staff. Nice amenities and close to restaurants. We chose it because it is so close to Stanford Medical Center. Would highly recommend this hotel. Even has a nice breakfast!

Good location but needs improvements.

Maintenance was poor. Lights out in room, clock did not work, holes in BE wall. All pointed out to maintenance but no effort to correct in 4 day stay. Front desk staff surly and unhelpful.

Nice room for a good price close to Stanford

Posted Mar 24, 2017
Pros: Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.
Cons: If there are more than two people in your party, the room amenities (towels, TP, earplugs, water, etc.) ought to be set up to accommodate your party.
Location: Very, very close to Stanford if that's your destination (1 block). Centrally located, easy to find from 280/101.
Missed entrance twice, office tricky to find, and no place to park near the office, but these were minor inconveniences (for us, with no ambulatory problems) that probably cannot be fixed due to the hotels location and physical configuration. Other issues was the noisiness of El Camino Real, but the hotel obviously realizes this as they provide complimentary earplugs (!). Lots of stairs, very small & semi-rickety elevator. Front desk staff (both at night and in the morning) were helpful and accommodating, but never, ever smiled once -- they did not seem to be happy people, but that did not seem to get in the way of them performing their job effectively. No complaints about the service. Breakfast was very surprisingly varied, hot, and bountiful. I would recommend this hotel for anybody not wanting to spend a bundle for an overnight in Menlo Park/Palo Alto and not put off by the hotels little quirks.

Great location within walking distance to Stanford Shopping Mall. A bit noisy as the trains go by just across the street and the very busy El Camino Real is just out front.
