We returned to these apartments after 9 years. They haven't really changed! Good location, nice pool and our apartment overlooked the marina. However, the air conditioning was broken and, after complaining, I was told the air conditioning machines were new and, as under guarantee, could not be repaired by the hotel's own maintenance team. This was not my problem! We were given two portable machines, both of which were very noisy and had an outlet pipe which actually became very hot :(. The family in our neighbouring apartment told us they had been in ours initially and had been moved! We had been told there were no apartments to which we could have moved, apart from a one-bed, which was up a lot of steps and not suitable for my daughter who has mobility problems. We were offered meals in the hotel as compensation, which we eventually had three of - we hadn't wanted all-inclusive as we wanted to experience local restaurants. We were told, as our booking was through Expedia, we would not be able to have any compensation from the hotel directly as they didn't have our money!! The staff seemed to be trying to help but, whenever I was told management would be around, they simply weren't. Apart from the uncomfortable heat, the accommodation was adequate and clean. The food that we ate in the restaurant was fresh, plenty of choice and service was adequate. Nice pool, ten minute walk to beach and the marina is a lovely area to walk around and sit by.
