The location of this hotel is everything! 5*****
A stunning location for this hotel, it’s unique paths lead down to a gorgeous little cove that you simply have to use a mask and snorkel to see the hidden beauty that lies beneath the waves. The fish are plentiful it’s a lovely little extra to enjoy the holiday with both the facility to use the pool or the sea. The pool was nice, although filled with sea water, and drained daily! The sun beds are also cleaned daily and this was lovely to see. Unfortunately many people do venture down early to reserve their Sunbeds, but this didn’t cause us too many problems as it was just 2 adults, so we found space, but could have been problematic if we had been travelling as a family. There are signs about to stop people reserving bed, but this would be hard to police considering how tempting the cove is for a swim, we spent many hours down in the sea then returned to the sunbeds for a snooze. It’s an hour from the aiport, the hotel, we fortunately booked transfers separately, direct with an airport company, and this worked incredibly well for us! But do book online before you travel! We will definitely be back with the family. An amazing location that is simply stunning.

Good Hotel
A very good, well run hotel. The area is lovely and it was warm enough to swim in the sea and in the swimming pool at the end of October. Very entertaining shows every evening and plenty to do for kids.

Not Quite What I was Expecting
Whilst the hotel is clean and the room was well fitted, I did feel it was too big for the site it was on. There is only one pool so with the majority of the occupants wanting sun beds it becomes a real scrum. I was staying in the last week of May, the resort was extremely busy but I don't understand why the pool bar and another bar were not going to open until 1st June. It meant all residents were cramed into one extremely noisy area. Not all of us want to sit through the children's disco or the bingo, we just want a quiet adult area where we can chat in peace and enjoy a relaxed drink. There is only one restaurant so again meals were taken in a very busy noisy environment. Whilst the food is fine its not very imaginative. Rather than call it a buffet, I would just call it mass catering in a canteen. I chose this resort having read the on-line write up. It said it had a private beach, whilst there is a sandy cove this is accessed walking down the rocky cliff or via the public path. The beach area is small and has no facilities/sun beds so beware. This is noted as a 4* resort. Personally I would rate it as a good 3*. Whilst the hotel and room was extremely clean and the staff are lovely, the facilities are not sufficient and the restaurant/food is not of good enough quality or standard to warrant 4*. Be aware that room 1115 - 1118 are above/next to a generator or boiler room (I couldn't work out what). There is a persistent drone/hum, impossible to sleep.

Excellent every time!
We stay here regularly as we often have to visit the island and this is our first choice for an hotel. Its situation and the cliff walks around it are beautiful for when we have free time. Otherwise, the hotel just delivers good service consistently. Highly recommended.

Nice cliff side hotel
A very pleasant stay, all the staff were very friendly, night time entertainment was good, the food was very nice with a very good selection that catered for all. By day would recommend the hire of a car to go and explore the rest of the island (car hire wont brake the bank) or get on the bus for a nice day trip to the local town of Citutadella where you will find enough to entertain all tastes.

Fourth stay at this lovely hotel
This was our fourth stay at this hotel, as always really great stay , friendly staff, good choice of food from breakfast, lunch and evening meal, would recommend anybody to check this hotel if your looking for a nice break. Only a couple of points to raise, evenings entertainment isn't great, combination of acts brought in and the entertainment team is very "cheesy". Safe deposit prices high for the week and why isn't the gym included in the price, but would still go the pros far outweigh the cons

A great holiday
The hotel is very clean. The food is good- lots of fresh fruit and salad and a wide choice. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Our beds were comfortable. The atmosphere in the hotel is pleasant. We went out of season, so it was not too busy.

Immaculately clean, good value.
Enjoyed a three night stay on AI basis, not usual for us, but proved to be good for the three nights, any longer may have diminished the experience. The hotel is very clean in all areas and, at the price we paid, £67 per night for the two of us, offers great value. Would definitely return on a short term basis.

It was a very good hotel.
It was a very good hotel with excellent staff and facilities. We booked half-board which we were pleased about as the food was generally good but could not be to everybody's taste. The location did feel a bit out of the way from any real stretches of beaches and attractions.

Nice hotel but need more bar staff
Just come back from a week at this hotel. Lovely clean modern room on the first floor with a nice view of the sea. Food was good although didn't like the fish - tasted too fishy(!) so gave that a miss. Restaurant was really busy some days but always managed to find a table eventually. Celebrated my birthday while there and the hotel gave us a free bottle of cava and birthday cake when we went for dinner which was a nice gesture. Only one bar open all week and that was always busy - could have done with more bar staff. Ventured into cuitadella one day on the bus but not a lot there we didn't think but was a change of scene. Didn't think there was much to do outside of the hotel but didn't bother us as we just wanted a relaxing holiday.

Nothing wrong with the hotel. Clean, fresh with a lovely location. Rooms are compact, but the junior suites are just a bedroom and bathroom, not what we would call a junior suite. Good pool with plenty of loungers and spaces to put them on the various terraces. The thing that let it down for us was the food. Breakfast was good, but lunch and dinner were disappointing. Not much choice and not very well cooked. The staff are a mixed bag. Some were lovely while others were either too busy to smile or not in the mood.

Large resort-like hotel in Beautiful location
Settled on the cliffs just north of Ciutadella, this hotel had views from most rooms- sea, pool or cove. The rooms were comfortable, recently renovated and clean if a bit smaller than we expected. One queen and a roll away single. Drying rack and table on the balcony were great, fantastic shower. Most seemed to be on all-inclusive, we had half-board and enjoyed all/you-can-eat buffet in the huge dining room. The pool area is gorgeous, but salt water pool not heated, beware if you go in early spring. Pool games, kids club, friendly monitors, trails to hike around coves, sports center across the parking lot, mini-golf. Very complete

Nice hotel close to the beach
Lovely hotel recommend all inclusive as there is plenty of variety on the buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner .There is a good little beach a few minutes walk from the hotel. The swimming pools are great plus plenty of room for sunbathing around pool area with 2 bars definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday

Spotless hotel, friendly staff PERFECT location
I stayed in this hotel for 6 days. I had the room tidy, clean and fresh every day. Very friendly staff, helpfull and professional. Probably just a couple of things not very important but it would worth a improvement. FREE WIFI ROOM SERVICE but overall I give hotel Almirantes Farragut a 10/10

A good all-round choice
We stayed half board for 5 nights as a base for exploring the west end of the island by rented car. It was a good choice for this purpose, with good range of amenities and wide choice of satisfactory buffet food. Reception staff helpful. Bar service a bit slow. Comfortable room, but shower temperature varied during use and re air conditioning either we didn't operate it properly or the heat at the time won. Good value for what we paid.

Hotel at the end of the resort with great views in all directions. Lovely coves with beautiful clear blue water. Staff all friendly and efficient. Food good, with plenty of variety. Shame pool bar not open in May, a toasted sandwich or similar would make a change at lunch time. Pool area great with plenty of room and sun beds, but if they don't have a further supply of sun beds for the high season, you may have trouble finding one. Entertainment ok, the best night was the last one "Gaga V Jackson". Absolutely brilliant. The area immediately away from the hotel is in need of attention. Pavements not that good and untidy. Spoils first impression of hotel, which is a shame. It is possible to walk to Ciutadella but if you want to see the whole island like we did, you would need a car.

Lovely stay
we were grandparents travelling with our 14 year old grandson and everything was just completely spot on! The flights with Monarch were bang on time, even a little early and the hotel was everything we could have wished for, the location was perfect, a gorgeous little cove where we snorkelled daily, a short bus ride into Ciudadella with its lovely marina, and the pools at the hotel were lovely, but I have saved the best 'til last!!!!!!! The food was the best food I have had anywhere on all-inclusive, fanstasic choice and all lovely quality. Will definately return.

Good value family hotel
The hotel is excellent value for families. It has three swimming pools and a sandy cove close by. The water in the pools and in the cove was still quite cold but they would be better used in mid summer. The hotel was full while we were there and yet there were no queues to be seen in the very busy breakfast period. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Rooms were cleaned daily and the water of all three pools was changed during our stay (28/05 to 04/06). Staff were friendly and efficient. There were a limited number of activities for children in the hotel, but a good number of play areas a short walk away. The inflatables in these play centres were very popular with the children in our group. Many restaurants nearby had attached play areas.

Excellent value for money on all inclusive, child friendly, would go back.
The all inclusive package at the hotel was wonderful. I spent 70 cents in 9 days on a bag of nuts!! The staff are very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. The amenities were all clean, food very varied, fresh and interesting. One criticism would be the hotel entertainment team who were well below par but other entertainment was really good. As the hotel is the other side of the island from the airport with not much in the local area it could do more on the in-house entertainment side and maybe have a cinema room!! It is very child friendly, organises games and competitions and gives out certificates in the evening. The children all seemed to have a really good time. All in all a very good experience and I would definitely go back.

Would recommend this hotel and will go back next year in October.
This hotel is mainly for older people or people with families.The food is great and there is plenty going on with the entertainment team.It is a bit of an advantage to hire a car as there are lots of lovely places to see in Minorca.The town itself Cala n Forcat was not very lively but we did visit in October.This suited us as we are in our fifties and are not into night clubs!! I would really recommend this hotel for a nice relaxing break with good value for food and drink.The all inclusive option is well worth it.

Hotel is excellently sited with unimpeded views in all directions. But is poorly structured with seriously reduced external views from within the rooms. Potential view is lost due to external wall across part of the width. Why they did this is beyond comprehension. And there is no purpose to the external wooden doors outside the glass doors to the balcony. Balcony furniture was poorer than most, and lacked a full-height table. The internal fittings were not properly maintained. But the public areas had a classy look and feel to them. Food is buffet, and in any hotel this can lead to it not being very hot, but here it was nearly cold a lot of the time. On the other hand I did think the variety of choice was quite good. Always a pasta, though only once in the week was there a meat sauce for it. Always a fish choice. Always chips *and* one other type of potato. Almost always a rice dish. Quality was mixed. The grilled meat was tough and tasteless. But the moister meat dishes were tasty, as was the rice. Desserts hardly ever changed, and only once was there a hot dessert. Breakfasts were even more limited. But this is only a three star hotel, and the food was only a little worse than the average. The staff were friendly. The onsite supermarket was only open for two hours a day, but there are others nearby. The bus service into town was quite good, at least for Menorca. You get what you pay for, and this was an inexpensive week, and I feel I did get value for money.

Best Honeymoon destination
Went there for my honeymoon in mid June. I was extremely surprised of the quality of the hotel and the cleanliness. the staff is super friendly and they are very accomodating. very quite and private hotel. will recommend for any couples want to escape and relax

Very good value for money
Travelling on a budget and paying just 15 pounds per night each inc. breakfast, we weren't expecting much. To our surprise, the hotel was welcoming, uncrowded and clean. The room was exactly as requested - twin, no-smoking, quiet with sea view with a balcony so we could watch the boats go by as we ate snacks / had a glass of wine. There was a large choice at breakfast with fresh fruit, different breads, cold and cooked meats, cheese, etc. The pool was lovely and plenty of sunbeds and shade. On our last day, we could even leave our suitcase in a locked cupboard and shower in a bedroom before departing. Not sure how it'd be in high season, maybe a bit crowded around the pool, but still plenty of space inside. It's the first hotel I've stayed in which has its own supermarket so you can buy your bottled water, etc. This hotel was hard to beat for the price. Travel dates were the last week in June.

L'hotel aveva una vista mare spettacolare, oltre al servizio all inclusive eccellente.. Vi consiglio il mojito (non incluso nell'all inclusive, pagato solo 3€) che è stato il più buono che abbia mai bevuto!!!

주소 잘보고 오세요 구글지도가 글로발레스 비니마르로 안내해줘서 헤맴. 람블라거리 환전소보다 여기환전이 더 잘쳐줘서 여기서 환전함. 레이트체크아웃가능 오후2시는 10유로, 오후4시는 21유로 추가로 내면 됨. 침대시트가 빨았는데 묻은게 안지워진거같은 자국이 좀 있어서 별로였음 이불은 옷장안에 있었어요. 나머지시설은 깔끔 깨끗. 밥은 스페인식이라기보단 그냥 유럽의 간단한 식사 느낌. 과일을 푸짐하게 먹을수있었음

Ubicación excelente encima de un acantilado con unas vistas muy bonitas,comida y limpieza bien,habitaciones todas reformadas con minibar y terraza,servicio de recepción superprofesional y muy amables al igual que servicio de cafetería,el servicio de comedor muy bueno con limpieza y rapidez en recoger mesas para que no se formasen colas ( salvo pequeño encontronazo con una de las srtas.del comedor por la forma de dirigirse a nosotros al llamarnos la atención de manera un tanto desabrida por el simple hecho de colocarnos al lado de una mesa creyendo que estaba vacía ).Hotel muy recomendable

Es un hotel muy grande y precisamente el estar masificado hace que pierda calidad en el servicio a los huéspedes. El comedor muy ruidoso y la calidad del buffet aceptable, pero no la de un 4 estrellas como se prometía. La recepción al hotel fue muy mala...yo me encontraba enferma ese día y el recepcionista fue muy desagradable. Las recepcionista que nos tocaron el día del check out fueron más amables, aunque en general creo que tienen un poco de caos en la organización del hotel.
