If you're expecting a luxury, 5-star hotel, this probably isn't the place for you. However, if you're looking for a clean, affordable place to stay with comfortable beds, it's a great value. The indoor pool was a huge hit with our kids, and the complimentary breakfast had a nice variety of options. The property could definitely use some updates, but it was well worth the price. We stayed in Room 117, which has a window facing the pool, so it can get a little noisy during pool hours. Since our kids were enjoying the pool too, it wasn't an issue for us. We were toward the back of the hotel and didn't hear the train at all, though I imagine rooms closer to the front may experience more noise. Overall, we had a good stay and would definitely stay here again.

"Historic hotel with pictures of Hollywood stars from yesteryear everywhere. Fun to do once, but other hotels in the area offer better amenities. Only negatives were crowded parking, very small bathrooms, and pretty bland and uninspiring food in the restaurant. Everything else was great."
