Nothing workedPosted Jan 7, 2018
Location: Good freeway access, bowling alley next door
Traveled all night. They let me check in 1 1/2 hours early to get a nap in. That was great. Decent sized room. Later I laid down to watch TV. Screen says to change the input but there is no input button on the remote. Had to call the front desk. Apparently the is a hidden button on the side of the TV. The main problem was the vintage heater. 2 rotary dials, 1 marked with pen, hot and cold. It only worked if it was exactly on one of those settings. The other dial unmarked. Turn it clockwise and the heater came on. Only it would never shut off. Turn it a little CCW and it would stop, coming on every 5 min to blow cold air for 10-13 sec. So it went all night, 10 min of heat, get up turn it down. 20 min later freezing my butt off, get up to turn on the heat. Thought I might find the sweet spot on the heater, probably should have gotten another room. 1 sheet, 1 blanket, 1 skinny decorative cover. Got up for the free breakfast, about what I expected. Though no hot water was available to brew my own tea that I brought. Only styrofoam cups and a microwave. So I figure I will go back to my room and use the paper cup in the bathroom. But my rooms microwave didn't work. Then I went to take a shower. I could never quite get the shower handle to shut off the water. Probably would have been exactly what I wanted if I didn't get the room where nothing worked. As is it was an incredibly horrible experience.

A pleasant stayPosted Jan 5, 2018
Cons: The bed was a little hard, but better than being too soft.
Location: Since I was there for a funeral, I didn't check out much. I did get something to eat late evening a Bob Evans almost next door to motel.
I was there for a funeral. It snowed about six inches between Friday night and Saturday morning. When I went to try to clean my car off, a very nice gentleman helped me. Actually, he cleaned my car off! Everyone there was very helpful, from the staff to the other guests. It was right off the highway and convenient for all my needs. I would recommend this motel to others.

Overnight stay. Had just been remodeled during the summer so everything was fresh and new looking. Room and bathroom were clean. Room had limited amenities but we weren't looking for anything fancy for our quick stay. Breakfast was very limited. Only negative was the smoke alarm that went off around 7am because someone on the 2nd floor (smoking rooms floor) was smoking and set off the alarm. Don't know how smoke from one little cigarette could set off an alarm, but that's the store the desk clerk told us.

Tired, old & dirtyPosted Nov 3, 2017
The lightning was dim at best, was like being in a cave. Not enough electric sockets, coffee maker didn’t work and the shower...

Room was clean and comfortable but basic. Good for a place to rest and go visit the family.
