I love the staff, including Angel, Roberto, Elwina, Willy, Felipe, Angelica, Jorge and all the cooking and cleaning staff that I did not meet by name. They were so kind, especially to this woman traveling alone.

The hotel itself was fine but unwary travellers need to be aware that the parking is away from the hotel. This was a bit of a headache as you have to go to the hotel to get someone to open up each time. Whilst the breakfast was nice it was limited and we were led to believe that the restaurant would be open but it was not in the evenings (there are other options locally).

I had a great four days. I traveled solo and felt very safe walking in the neighborhoods around the hotel. Staff was lovely, the room was spacious and well equipped and the pool and complimentary breakfast were simple and perfect.

Great location in Mérida
I liked the room and the onsite restaurant was good. Quiet AC and ceiling fan. The location was very good. The only problem was the pool area, a forgotten corner at the side of the hotel. I love to swim and I didn't use it. Not an inviting space. Everything else was good.

Excellent Hotel in Great Location
This is a very nice boutique hotel that is reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. It’s very pretty both in the common areas and the rooms. We all loved it and I definitely look forward to returning again soon.

Awesome hotel but meager breakfast
Excellent hotel, room, comfort, service, and location. The only thing can be improved is the “continental” breakfast as it is very basic and limited (coffee or tea. Fruit plate or juice. Toasted bread with a serving of butter& jam). The next hotel I’m staying is simpler but as nice, there are coffee and juice and fruits and yogurt and cereal and 2 breads and cake, at a cheaper rate.

Incredibly beautiful hotel in perhaps the best possible location in El Central, Merida. Beautifully furnished and spaceous room with a comfortable bed, A/C, and working hot water. All the staff members I spoke with were friendly and incredibly helpful. They were always willing and able to speak English when my Spanish failed me. Walking distance from pretty much everything. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Casa San Angel for making my stay delightful! I will be coming back.

Outstanding hotel. The location is in the heart of Mérida, everything is walking distance from you. The hotel is beautiful on the inside with very well kept plantation. Very helpful and prompt staff. Would have given it a 5 stars if they had hot water. Was a bit annoying to take cold showers

Amazing property with the most unique decoration! Staff is the most friendly ! And the property is just gorgeous and in such a good location! I highly recommend ! The only thing I didn’t like is that they have 2 parrots in a cage … not very nice

Un pedacito de paraiso en Merida
Casa San Angel esta muy bien ubicado, en la zona del Remate del Paseo Montejo. Las instalaciones estan en muy buen estado. El personal es muy amable y estan pendiente de todo. Tuve el placer de conocer a su Dueña, una mujer encantadora, que se ocupa personalmente de cada detalle. El lugar es mas impactante que las fotos. Quiero agradecer especialmente a Eloina, la gerente operativa de Casa San Angel, y a todo el personal por hacerme pasar una estadia tan maravillosa. Volvere, sin duda!

Lovely Hotel very conveniently located at the top of the Paseo. Central Location makes it accessible to all the cities many cultural offerings and restaurants. Super- friendly staff keeps everything running like a clock! Room is spotless!

We enjoyed our stay at the San Angel very much. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the location great, the common areas lovely and relaxing. Only improvements we could suggest would be better lighting and at least one comfortable armchair in the room (there is plenty of space for it). There is comfortable seating outside the rooms, but not much within it, and the light is inadequate for reading. If you have a rental car, note that the hotel's locked parking is a block away, so when you get your car you need to alert the staff. They are always very willing to unlock the gate, but it's an added step.

We found all the staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Sara at the reception desk went out of her way to help us with tour booking and flight check in. We enjoyed our stay very much. We would have appreciated if the restaurnt hours had been longer.

Very nice stay, other than the cats!
A lovely hacienda with it's old charm. My only issue was with the cats at this hotel, I was not aware. For this reason I did not have breakfast at the hotel. Staff was very pleasant, always willing to help.

Hacienda Petac is a very special place. Colleen and all of the staff are excellent. Wonderful Yucatan meals. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds and deluxe bathrooms. You are close to nature but in a well landscaped property. Small number of rooms, so it feels very exclusive. Cant wait to come back.

Great location. Really comfortable bed, spacious room, great view (street). Awesome restaurant (best breakfast anywhere), room amenities, cold AC and AMBIANCE. All staff were so kind and accommodating, including the restaurant and housekeeping. Most everyone spoke english. Very charming and relaxing sitting area upstairs outside of the rooms with drinking water, ice and an exercise bike.

The hotel is quaint and pretty. I liked the murals, the cats, the parrots and the vegetation. The restaurant was great. The staff was attentive and eager to help. Centrally located with the Fruit-aria and Soberteria five blocks away.

This is a small boutique hotel that is centrally locates in the historic part of Mérida. The staff is very friendly and rooms are clean with a good working a/c. There are limited amenities so don’t come expecting a pool or workout room.

A stunning hotel in a very convenient location in Merida. Only a 10 minute walk to the heart of the town and only moments away from Paseo De Montejo. This really was a very beautiful (and romantic) hotel and staff were very accommodating. We chose to rent a car after landing at the airport and parking nearby was pretty safe and easy. I would definitely stay here again! The in-room hammocks are a must.

The hotel was amazing and about a 10 minute walk to the city center. Friendly staff and nice restaurant. The bed however was very hard and uncomfortable for us. For another person it may be just fine. That is our only complaint. Loved everything else

Ideal Quiet Base for visiting Mérida
A nice Boutique Hotel in an ideal, but quiet position at the beginning of the Paseo, Mérida's main Avenue, at the edge of the Centro Historico. Lobby is a stunning green courtyard, Major sights and many restaurants in easy walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff.

San Angel & Merida go together well!
