Great hotel across from Parque Santa Lucia

Posted Apr 9, 2017
Pros: Pool area gorgeous, staff always there if we needed anything. Had there own private parking lots, one entered from front of building and one on back
Cons: They could ad an internet booster for the outer rooms.
Location: Across the street was Park Santa Lucia. It has several high end restaurants. Nightly entertainment in the park. Walk to many clubs and restaurants.
Stayed for a week and the service and facilities were impeccable. Beautiful breakfast spread, complimentary with our room. King size room newly renovated.

Quaint hotel with great location

Posted Jan 5, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Change A/C units to turn on and off when temperature reached.
Location: Central location. Nice restaurant area across street with treed area, music at night and markets during week. Churches and shopping all around.
Very quiet nice location in Merida. Can walk everywhere in town. Staff very nice, helpful and always available. Nice pool area, rooftop seating. Has restaurant but also coffee shop attached. A/C stays on constantly tho so noisy at night. Parking on site.

Very convenient, economical, neat hotel!

Posted Dec 9, 2016 on Hotels
Great value, location, inner cenote feeling courtyard (high wall/trees) - all very nice except strangely frayed bath towels. Housekeeping comes basically 3-5 pm, but very accommodating. They also provide "beach towels" for swimming and insect repellant! Be nice to have at least one English TV station like CNN in... Economical breakfast choices -- but also adjoining to real coffee shop and near Santa Anna Mercado/other spots for Mexican breakfast treats.

Location: Near historic centro many good restaurants, bars and shopping
This was our second stay at this hotel. We like it because is is close to everything we like to do in Merida and the staff is excellent. They have a refreshing pool and garden that is relaxing to enjoy. Clean, convenient to centro, nice, friendly and helpful staff near historic center

Review of Hotel Maison del Embajador

Posted Oct 16, 2016
Location: Nice place to walk, centrally located, good transportation, cheap.
Good value for the money. The only problem was the hot water from the shower was lukewarm most of the time. Location was very good, right next to Santa Lucia Plaza. Great restaurants across the street.

Visit to Merida

Posted Jul 17, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: The size of the room & the cleanliness.
Cons: If there was A/C installed in the main areas, that would be great. Because the lack of A/C in stairs or hallways one cannot enjoy this beautiful place
Location: The location is great because is in the center of everything. Many restaurants nearby and museums, etc...
Nice and clean hotel. We enjoyed our stay as the hotel is near everything.

Thank you very much for your comments. It is impossible to put air conditioning in the hallways and stairs as everyone is outdoors, the structure does not lend itself to that room that overlooks the garden and pool have a balcony and corridor. the hope on your next visit.

My "go to" place in Merida.

Posted Dec 27, 2015 on Hotels
Very friendly reception. Carlos was terrific. the room we initially received was a bit dark so we asked for something else. we were given another room within 5 minutes with the bellman helping us move with us even asking. Loved the pool area very private and tropical and quiet. lovely small and large patios tucked in many different places within the hotel. Great coffee place right next store. Great to have a refrigerator in the room. Coffee maker for first morning coffee would be nice.

Great hotel for families!

Posted Dec 26, 2015
This is our favorite place to stay in Merida. It is in a great location, the pool is beautiful, the reaturant & coffee house are wonderful, the staff are friendly & helpful, safe parking provided (tight fight but usual for downtown), large quiet rooms...the beds aren't very plush, but are ok.
