Nice clean, modern look, bar in Lobby.

Nice, clean, modern style. Nice sitting and dining area in the lobby. Good breakfast. Bar in lobby also. Nice place to stay. A little far from downtown, a short drive and your there.overall satisfied.

Ikea like Hote

Pros: Location. great breakfast for about 6 dollars.
Cons: Provide hot water
Location: A block off Paseo Montejo, Tall bldg. with large red sign on top of hotel for easy find. 7 min walk from ADO station for bus to Cancun Airport.
Great location Staff is very attentive. Only issue for me is that there was not any hot water even after letting it run for a few minutes. Not sure why..

very clean, efficient friendly staff

Pros: It was CLEAN, staff was well-trained and friendly, it was exactly what we wanted and needed and we didn't have to overspend.
Location: an OXXO, a Chedraui, McDonalds, Chili's, and US embassy all 3 minute walk. No driving necessary!
We had to stay two nights in Merida. This hotel was perfect. Exceptionally clean, modern facilities, and staff was awesome. Answered our many questions and gave great directions and advice. There is no pool, and we opted for this and saved the 50+ dollars a night we would have spent on a hotel of the same caliber that had a pool. We were out sigjtseeing most of the two days. The room is pretty small, no space for table or desk, just a padded bench as the extra furniture. That's all we needed. Comfy bed and pillows, great a/c that we never had to adjust the controls, and nice big Samsung flatscreen TV. Coffee in the morning is 25 pesos, though, but if you get the 99 peso breakfast buffet it is included. It was a good breakfast with tasty scrambled eggs. They have a business center with desktops to use also.

I would have liked it if at check in the hotel staff would tell me that breakfast was included and given a map of the area. Could have been a bit more helpful.

Ibis Hotel in Merida

We had a great stay in Merida at the Ibis. It is a very nice clean and comfortable place to stay that is close to a lot of restaurants and museums. You can walk to many stores.

Great hotel at a great location

It's a nice hotel at a great location, installation and services are good. I have only one negative comment; I had problems opening the door for the room, I even informed about it and they even when to check it out, again good service! but what I didn't like is that they say it's normal and that you just have to try again, I did not see the intention to do a permanent fix to that.
