Incorrectly charged my credit card

I was incorrectly charged for my room and had to spend my time trying to get it corrected! Also, it is bad need of repair and updating. Not what you normally expect from a Hampton. I always stay at Hamptons and was extremely disappointed in this one.

Our property underwent an completely renovation as part of Hampton's Forever Young Initiative and every portion of the hotel has been updated. Again we apologize that your Hampton experience was not what you expected.

Nice hotel and friendly staff

Pros: Good location and friendly staff.
Location: Plenty of shopping, variety of food, and gas stations nearby.
We were upgraded to an executive king room after we arrived at the hotel. They had booked us on the first floor in a smoking room, when I was asked if that was correct I told them no so they upgraded us. Manager reception was nice and breakfast the next morning was good. Room was quiet, comfortable and very clean.

I would not recommend this hotel until they are finished with remodeling and upgrades. Paint cans and other construction materials are all over the place. Restrooms in lobby are out of commission. Very run down and needs upgrading. It is the worse Hampton Inn I have ever seen!

Wait till they are finished renovation

Just one night in this hotel. They were in the process of renovation the hotel. I was not happy at first, the elevator was a mess and there was a smell in the hall way. However once we got in the room, it had been redon and was nice. New furnishings, furniture, nice bedding.

Renovations

Pros: Except for the renovations, which were needed, everything
Cons: It's being done! I don't know if the hotel has anything to say or do about the potholes on the street outside the hotel, wish could be fixed
Location: Location right off the interstate. Jimmy Rogers train, and carousel, not much else
Renovations were going on inside and outside. We were on the secure floor which was all new and beautiful. Have been at this Hampton Inn several times and will use this hotel again in the future. Staff always great. Great breakfast.
