It has a nice atmosphere....not clinical like many new buildings. I picked up fluff on my feet which transferred to my bed.

A cute, affordable motel! Loved the styling and being able to walk to the beach every morning. Reception gave us lots of wonderful tips to see the local area.

Great budget hotel on the Gold Coast. Property was super clean and maintained inside room and outside grounds. Even with lots of roadwork happening and being on highway, noise was minimal and not disruptive to sleep.

Spent just one night at the Blue Heron Motel and could’ve stayed so much longer! Staff was great with accommodating an earlier check in and later check out for us. The motel itself is so cute and clean with all the details like a nespresso machine and the comfiest pool loungers to really make it feel like a luxurious stay. Would highly recommend!!

Beds are terrible, no head, old matrices, not conformable. Toilet door is bad without look. Check in at 2pm while check out at 10am which is not logic as 2 hours difference should be more than enough. First day arrival was not welcome by old lady with no smilling

Hi Ghassan, thank you for your review! Our check in/out times are based on the industry standard, as well as our limited staff, as we are a small motel with one cleaner who sometimes has to work on 12 rooms at a time by herself; a 4 hour interval for these occasions comes with pressure, but we manage. We understand that some guests arrive here with the expectations for a hotel however, we do not market ourselves as one, because that is not what we are. This is a fully renovated motel, which means all of our furniture is new, including the beds and mattresses.

Very clean! They take pride and very good care of the property. Restocked our towels, drinks, and biscuits without asking. Very friendly staff! My favorite place we stayed on the Gold Coast! Nice and quiet too!

The Blue Herron was a perfect one night stay on the Gold Coast. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean and fresh. The pool area was relaxing and having a glass of wine in the BBQ area at the end of the day finished off a marvellous experience.

What a lovely place to stay! Our room was beautifully decorated and designed. The pool and bbq area were very inviting…I only wish we would have had more time to enjoy. The location was great, too! Friendly staff and very reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend!

I've overnighted here a few times now and Blue Heron will continue to be my accomodation of choice. It's clean, comfortable, friendly and quiet (I was concerned about the roadworks and highway but had no need to be). Every communication with the team has been great.

The pool area was great, the kids loved it. This hotel worked well for us for 1 night before we left in the early hours for the airport. Would definitely use again.

Awesome little stay in a small resort only a handful of rooms, with a great sun trapped pool area and outdoor seating under cover. Staff were very helpful and managed to stay a extra night we enjoyed it that much!

We needed a last minute stay at GoldCoast for our family of 5. Found this little gem that was perfect. A bed for everyone, a swim in the pool for the kids and breakfast on the grass in the morning. Room was beautiful and clean and location was fantastic. Thanks for having us!

I wish I could leave more than 5 starts for Blue Heron. The staff made my birthday so special and were friendly and fun. Such a great location with a short stroll to beautiful Mermaid Beach, walking distance to some great bars (The fancy Alltime cocktail bar and then the relaxed beer garden at The Yard). We'll deffo be back!

The property and room was fine, a bit squashy for 3 adults but we managed. It was not as advertised on the internet however. I saw a multi storey modern building without pool and what we found was a single storey motel around a pool.
