Room basic, safe not working, no master key, no hairdrier, no medical kit. Website states no plastic straws but in use even after telling them, band by Dominica gov. Limited menu and then could not provide choice, did not have ginger ale. Waited an hour for hot breakfast cereal. Only filtered coffee no cappuccino etc.
Eco resort! Gardeners using 2 stroke noisy blowers why not battery. Plastic on beach, could ask customers to pick up a piece to help eco!

The property and hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, great atmosphere. Spa experience was superb. I took off one star for three reasons: breakfast buffett was extremely limited, there were only THREE lounge chairs by the pool for guests, and food was extremely overpriced for the value.
Most staff was helpful and pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental Dominica. Beyond the great onsite restaurants, the wonderful spa, beautiful rooms and outstanding views of the water and the mountains, were the lovely and engaging team members from the attendants that greeted you to the front desk to every member of the resort, all were friendly and helpful.

A good hotel, a great base to move around the island from, a mile from Roseau which is a good thing! Full bar an restaurant with a nice sea view. Very clean well serviced room and filtered water at the bar. Parking not an issue when i stayed.
