Close to a mall and interstate but in bad shape.

Pros: Price, Close to highway and mall.
Cons: Needs refurbishment, better breakfast, daily cleaning,
Location: Mall is located one block away, Bob Evans is a half block away, several restaurants within a short walking distance.
If price is what matters most then America's Best Value Inn is for you. The price was right as we needed two rooms and the cost was less than a hundred dollars a night. The person checking us in was friendly and the motel owner sitting on a couch in the lobby but did was not very friendly. The nice thing is that the motel is all on one level so you do not have to walk up stairs with your luggage. However, once you walk into the room you want to get out and run. Both of our rooms smelled bad with the one room smelling like someone smoked pot inside of it and they tried to spray something to make it smell better. Except for the television which was a relatively new flat panel, most of the future looked like it was 20 to 30 years old or more with the beds being hard as a rock. The room included a table and chairs, two full beds, an dresser along with a 32' flat panel television. There was also a sink on the far side of the room with a closet to the right with the bathtub and toilet to the left in room that was in poor shape.. The bathroom also showed areas of wear and there was not enough towels for even though there was only two of us in the room. One side of the room was painted a burgundy red that combined with the green drapes made the room appear very dark making it feel that it belong in a red light district. The breakfast was one of the worst I have seen in a long time being made up of only some danishes and coffee. Check out was quick but not friendly.

Not for the Ladies or kids

I was hoping to fine a nice cheap place for the night, but the first room we received was reeking with heavy smoke. I requested another room that was better but it just didn't look or feel clean. Old sheets , chip paint in the bathroom. My wife or daughter would not use the shower. Just remember you get what you pay for so for the price it is about average.

It was nice ,only it took a long time to get the Strong smell like cigarettes out of the room.

In dire need of updating. And cleaning. There were cobwebs on the ceiling, the bathroom was filthy and the room didn't have a pleasant smell. I didnt even feel comfortable sleeping in the beds. I was worried about bed bugs or catching some disease. It looks like they paid some teenagers $100 to paint all of the rooms. I can't believe a hotel chain would attach their name to this. Maybe this is what they are all like? I've never stayed at one before and don't plan to ever again. I will say, however, it was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. I certainly learned my lesson of going with the cheap hotel to save a few bucks on a quick trip. It wasn't worth it. On a positive note, the staff at the front desk was very friendly.
