This Motel has seen better days!

Posted Aug 11, 2016
Pros: Right off I-65, convenient to find.
Cons: New Furniture, Spend some money on A/C in lobby, Breakfast room, where first impression is, and clean better.
Location: Currently the location has a lot of road construction going on, but the mall is across the road, plenty of opportunities to shop and eat.
It has been several years since we have stayed at a Country Inn and Suites. This particular one is way pass it's prime. The friendlyness of the staff was great. The Lobby was not air Conditioned as well as the Breakfast room. The chairs in the lobby were worn and looked dirty, the carpet looked dingy. The elevator had a dirty floor. The room was adequate, A/C was noisy. Needed to be careful getting in and out of tub, no anti-skid bottom, no bars to assist your balance. My impression was management is on a shoe string budget, the maids cleaning the rooms were men. It reminded me of a hotel in the middle east, certainly not up to American Standards.

There were many people standing outside whistling and being rude to other guests and you had to walk through an entire group of people just to get in the entrance. One of the side doors was broke and the staff did not notify us when we asked if we could park on either side. Also the breakfast was not good at all. The room was good enough for a 1 night stay but I would not recommend for multiple nights.

Not a True Country Inn

Posted Jul 25, 2016
I have stayed at multiple Country Inn hotels. This particular hotel was not representative of the chain. It was very dirty and dated, as if it had not been maintained. The beds were comfortable and it was sufficient for a one night stay. I would not recommend for an extended period of time. The breakfast was alright, but not exceptional. I was expecting more from this hotel, based on my experiences with other hotels from the chain.

Waste of time for mature family oriented guests.

Posted Jul 6, 2016
There were too many teenagers/young adults running through the hotel playing. There was no whirlpool, only a dinning table. Pool was filthy without any towels. Manager wasn't interested in listening to our complaint. The pullout sofa was sunken in and very uncomfortable.

Three rooms before we could settle in.

Posted Jun 14, 2016
We had to be moved twice and then into a third room before we could settle in. The first room had a broken door lock AND the toilet wouldn't flush. The second room had a broken door lock and we were with a toddler so we had to have a working lock. The third room was acceptable, but by that time, nearly 10 pm, my daughter gave up and drove home with my grandson, feeling defeated! So our one night girls getaway(plus toddler grandson) was a bust. Never going there No apologies, nothing...very disappointed..

Not your typical Country Inn and Suites

Posted May 15, 2016 on Hotels
As I normally stay at Country ain't and Suites this was my go to when I was looking for hotels. I got the last room but upon arrival to my room I realized this was not the normal Country Inn. The desk clerk gave me a physical key and said that the doors lock was broken so I had to use the key. I put the key in the lock and found that the lock was broken and it would be an adventure just to get into my room. I finally opened the door, but was unable to get my key out of the lock. So I returned to the front desk! The desk clerk came to the room to assist the removal of the key but to no avail. So she went to get maintenance to help and I stayed to continue the battle with the door lock. I eventually was able to get the key out. This was my constant battle during my entire stay. The room was a bit dirty and it was not cleaned the whole time we stayed there so I had to ask the front desk for clean towels, shampoo, and soap. The desk clerk was surprised I needed them as our room was checked off the list as being cleaned. The whole hotel had seen better days. From the shower head to the walls to the flooring it is all in need of repair. I am a Country Inn and Suites customer but I don't think I'll stay at this one again.

The room was nice except that the refrigerator squeaked. We had to run the ac fan all night to drown out the noise.
