This was an unpleasant stay for me. I checked into the hotel and was given a first floor. When I got into my room I noticed that the window wouldn't close all the way. I called the front desk and asked for her to come and show me how to lock my window. She did but couldn't close it either. I asked to be put on the second floor. At first she said she couldn't because I booked it thru hotel.com and that was the room set aside for these reservations. I expressed this was a safety issue and I wasn't going to pay more for a room that I needed to change to because of a safety issue. She then decided to change me to the room above it. When I got to that room there was a bedbug on the night stand and so I called her again saying I wouldn't take that room. She said she would bring up the keys for another room for me. In the meantime I leaned up next to a dresser while waiting for her and got something very 'sticky' all over my pants. Not sure what it was but needless to say I wasn't happy. She brought up keys for the third room and that one was ok. Had it not been so late in the evening I would not have stayed at this hotel. I wasn't happy with it at all. However the desk clerk did everything she could to make me happy and offered a movie at no cost. I didn't take advantage of that as it was late and I just wanted to get some sleep.
