Boring

Pros: Staff, Nice Room
Cons: More Channels on TV, It's possible they have more Channels but the remote would not let me move Channles, only the volume worked.
Location: Don't know, Checked in at 930pm, Checked out at 430am.
The TV got One Channel, it was in Spanish so I couldn't even watch it and understand it. Nice rooms and facility, the Staff was great, but One Channel, Really. The Remote for the TV would turn on TV and the Volume worked, no other buttons on Remote worked. I was only staying for some sleep and leaving, I tried calling the desk but got no answer, The young Lady working the Desk was busy when I checked in with several travelers. I assumed she wasn't able to get to phone. Since I had already got undressed and wasn't getting dressed to go back to Front Desk, I read a bit from a book I had and went to sleep. The room was Nice but for a room in this area of the country with a TV that doesn't work is unacceptable.

Nice hotel, reasonable price, would stay again!

Very friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast bar was nice and the food was good! Hot tub was delightful and the girls enjoyed the pool also!

Dirty hotel with bad customer service

This hotel is close to stores and restaurants. But it is filthy!!! The staff is not friendly. They will not give you clean towels or blankets. We checked out early and went to a better hotel.

BedBugs!!!!!!

My daughter and I found a very big bedbug on the pillow call the manager up and all he did was try to give me another room one I told him cant stay there We left quick

An awful, drug infested, dangerous place.

Pros: Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Hire more native English speaking staff. Improve responses to rude and disruptive guests who ruin other guests experiences.
My fiance and I needed a hotel to stay at while visiting family. The first night I was made to stand at desk extended time while checking in as the hotel staff fumbled around to check us in and file my card for incidentals. Walking down the hallway to my room, the hotel REEKED of marijuana. The next morning me and my fiance were awoken to the sound of a aggressive hotel guest pounding and banging on my door asking for a "JBone" or "Jdogg" and she was going to "file a police report for stolen money". My pregnant fiance was in the room terrified and stressed out because of this banging, we had driven 4+ hours the night before and were worn out. I went to the desk to complain about this guest, but at best I was told to talk to management in mumbled, broken English. I am absolutely floored and astounded that the hotel staff would allow a woman to wander the halls shouting obscenities into doorways and waking up the residents. That following evening, at least two residents got stuck INSIDE the elevator. This led to an entire family wailing and beating on the elevator doors from the outside, near our door as we tried to sleep. And the evening after that, the guest next door to us played rap music so loud it shook the room we were staying in. When I went to complain, I, the male, was asked "What can I do for you ma'am?". At this point I refuse to spend any money at the Quality Inns of Merrillville, and potentially the entire chain.

EXCELLENT

I enjoy staying here everytime I stay it becomes more pleasurable the employess even management and the housekeeepers are sooo nice and helpful always clean rooms good fun my kids enjoy it..... LOVE IT WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP COMING BACK...

It was a horrible experience they over charged my card twice and they were very rude to my children I had a 15 year old a 16 year old and two 9 year olds and they try to overcharge me but I told them that 17 in other free

Great place to stay and relax

bathroom was clean. but the pillow had a hair on it. and at the end of one of the beds was something that looked like a dried up peach nut. I took a Kleenex and put it in the toilet. I was too tired to complain about it. doors could use some paint. since it was only 60 dollars I didn't complain to the desk.
