We absolutely loved our 2 day stay here last year. Walking distance to Fenway and eateries. Beds were comfortable. It's an older style hotel. Only downside was the parking. There is not a ton of parking and if you are lucky enough to get into the garage, it's a tight fit to park. Can't wait to return.

good location for getting around boston, pleasant helpful staff
The front desk was friendly and efficient. the room was small but sufficient. The water in the shower got very hot which is always a nice bonus. Nice breakfast place next door (actually attached thru the main lobby). Free WiFi is available as well. We only spent one night here but for the price it was well worth it

The Buckminster is a pretty old property and not particularly fancy, but it was very clean and quiet. For the price, I was surprised. For a basic, affordable hotel in Boston, I'd recommend it.
Got there early and they had a room ready for me! Parking was $45, but they offered cheaper parking. Super nice staff! Perfect location for Fenway. Simple hotel, but perfect for my stay. Would recommend.
Great location. Clean room. Only improvement that I would suggest is from TV standpoint is either have Bly-Ray/DVD player and/or movies and the shower head water jet was quite weak.
We have no problem with old hotels. This place is like a hostel or something. No charm. Very very basic rooms. Paint peeling. Uncomfortable bed. No phone in room.
Location is awesome though.
Location is great. The room was tiny with a few of a brick wall... I've had better rooms there, but this was pretty inexpensive.Parking cost went up which is unfortunate.
Excellent spot for a getaway.staff very helpful during stay but still confused as why i couldnt prepay parking as it was paid thru hotel. They wanted to put on incidental card...i paid cash .
Convenient location! We went to a show at the House of Blues, just a couple minute walk. Clean room, and bathroom. Friendly staff at the front desk. Had a great breakfast at the fenmore grill
The staff went out of their way to give my 89 year old Dad a great experience! Great customer service is always expected but there was also exceptional human kindness shown.
