I was skeptical about staying here as I saw good and bad reviews. The location of the hotel is great if you are attending a game at Sloan Park as it is walking distance. You can also walk to a nearby gas station, restaurants, and stores. There are bikes to rent on the main street outside the hotel area. There is also a beautiful park next door. Our room was clean. Pillows were awful. The drain in the room smelled horrible. Too bad the design of the hotel did not include a balcony for each room. The elevators are very slow or do not work at all periodically. The pool area was nice. During our stay it was a combination of adults and some children. The only problem is that there is never enough towels and we always had to ask the front desk to send someone to replenish. I think there should be more garbage cans available for garbage as most people left cans and cups around the grounds. The pool bar was closed on St Patrick's Day!! We ordered lunch from the pool bar one day and it was very enjoyable. They have computers available to use free of charge and I was able to print out my tickets. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again.
