Magnificent views, great location and staffPosted Oct 8, 2015
Pros: Pretty much everything
Cons: Food menu - quite limited food menu and breakfast was a bit repetitive
Location: Brilliant location close to all amenities
We had some of the best views of any hotel in Sicily and the staff were incredibly helpful booking excursions. Sadly we were in Sicily with bad weather but they helped us with lovely trips so it didn't matter. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice family run hotel, handy for town.Posted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: See above comments.
Cons: Bedrooms and bathrooms could probably do with a make over.
Location: Location could not be better, only a short distance to main shops and restaurants. 10 minutes walk to Greek theatre.
Stormy weather and floods for first 3 days (not the hotels fault !) This was our second visit to the Villa Paradiso and it delivered again. Friendly and very helpful staff, speaking English, good room with a view over the bay and towards Etna. Plenty of variety at breakfast, only ate in on one night as we wanted to try a variety of restaurants. Location good for main area of town, also tried the Paradise Beach Club with free shuttle transfer. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Lovely old building well appointedPosted Sep 15, 2015
Bedroom not suitable because twin beds could not be separated because of space. Hotel provided another room which was excellent but cost more.

Nice hotel, close to the theatrePosted Sep 9, 2015
Cons: Hotel parking isn't available to all
The hotel was nice and the lift and ticket into the pool area was great. It was a great location for the theatre and local food. Eat at 'Andreas', right on the main street. They did say they had parking but we got totally stung and charged 18euros! It was one of the main reasons we booked there with the car!

Lovely hotel with a great location and fab viewsPosted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: Location, staff and the rooms were nice if a little small (but good value for the location)
Cons: Not much, the restaurant had a limited menu although breakfasts were fine.
Location: Fantastic, handy for the centre of town, shopprestaurants etc as said above. A great park right next door, tennis & beach club, ancient theatres etc
We had a great stay, the hotel is good, clean and has very friendly staff. A major plus is that it is also very well situated being close to the centre of Taormina (so very handy for the great restaurants, shops, bars etc) and has a tennis club and beautiful public park right next door. The views are fantastic and we stayed in a family room which has a sliding division between the enclosed balcony and the children's beds. A slight drawback is that the hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, however, you do get free membership of a local beach club and the tennis courts next door. There is a shuttle to and from the beach club which works OK - you have to get tickets and may have a short wait for the mini-bus and it's a 20 min ride but it works fine. The beach club is great with a restaurant and bar and loungers around the pool and on the beach. We felt it more convenient to stay in a centrally located hotel and travel to the pool rather than the other way around and with the local park and the Greco-Roman theatres near by there is a lot you can see on foot. Overall we had a great time and would definitely go back.

Average hotel and facilitiesPosted Jul 20, 2015
The hotel was clean and tidy but lacked 4 star feel and service, breakfast was disappointing and not the best quality of food. The bus to the beach and pool is 30 mins away and although there is a free shuttle service it is only available 3 times a day.

Paradise on earth!Posted Jul 13, 2015
Cons: Beds are a little bit firm!
Location: Perfect location for exploring Taormina and north eastern Sicily.
Beautiful hotel with lots of character! Our room had a stunning view of the coast and a smoking Mount Etna. Stephanie and her staff were so friendly and helpful...nothing was too much trouble for them. The use of the beach club is an added bonus for guests and the complimentary mini bus service was brilliant. Cannot fault this hotel or the experience they provide. Get it booked!
