Karalis City Hotel, the best option around Pylos
This is the 2nd time have stayed at the Karalis and it lived up to our 1st visit. The location was perfect for us, the staff were excellent and the balcony had a great view of Pylos, the port and the sea beyond. They made no fuss about my booking error - we overstayed by one day, all sorted with no fuss.

Location was great! Room size was good, awesome view to the water with an amazing view of the sunset. Shower had a floor shower mat on the wall that had mold on it and toilet was really high and inconvenient to use

We were greeted by very friendly and efficient staff. We'd turned up slightly early, but it was no problem and they just asked us to give them 5 mins to finish the room. We had a Junior suite on the top floor overlooking the bay. Wonderful views, very clean, great bed and shower room. Breakfast was good, which you take on the terrace. She's limited on facilities but for a small city hotel, she's close to the center of town and wonderful for a short break. Great value!

Staff were lovely and helpful. Room with balcony and superb view in the deluxe category was excellent value. Parking was 'interesting' opposite hotel and no food service other than breakfast (which was substantial). Staff recommended several good restaurants nearby. Excellent location for touring.

The room was nice and spacious. The bathroom was not approriate as the door was made by glass and it was not soundproof. The breakfast was pretty basic with limited choices. If you go after 9:30, the food was cold. No private parking available.

The breakfast had much more variety then a typical continental breakfast. Plus the staff were very friendly and always said hello or bye when we would enter/leave the hotel.

we do not understand why this is a VRBO site, its just a tourist hotel, where one gets a good bed, its clean,decent staff, but depressing b/fast, served in a conference room, and one must close the window due the noice on the road - too expensive for what they pretend

Great hotel choice in Pylos
All was great for this very reasonably priced hotel - location, staff and room with a balcony. We were invited to use its nearby sister hotel's waterfront location for some great swimming in and lounging by beautiful azure Navarino Bay.

Room with a view at Pylos
Ask for a room with harbour view. Staff very helpful. It's beautiful to look out at the sea by day and by night. Good restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Ditto taxis (to the Palace of Nestor) and busses, local and inter-urban. One quibble: I wish the breakfast room also had the sea view!

Beautiful views over Bay and harbour
Our superior room was newly refurbished and very good with beautiful view over harbour and Navarinou Bay with lovely sunsets. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Quiet as you would expect in late January but we were looked after very well and well priced.

Nice hotel in a great town PYLOS KALAMATA
Hotel stay was fantastic the town of Pylos .Great view of the ocean as well a marina.Shops are nice food is good being Greek I didn't expect anything different in taste.If you have a a gyros somewhere else you must have one in Greece it's fanatastic so tasty and satisfying.As far as beach well you need transportation for sure it's a bit out of the way mind you you have many to choose .Try LAGOON BEACH IN GIALOVA.

Pylos gorgeous
We liked the town of Pylos enormously, and ate twice at Gregory's in the village. The room was fine, great balcony and sea view. Wifi was poor. Lost all electricity on the last day, and staff very kindly led us around with torches. The staff said it had not happened before. The hotel was advertised as having a pool and restaurant, but neither was available when we went in May (I had booked in January). Staff were concerned about the wrong information.

Good and bad!
We originally took a standard room with no view. Upon arrival we upgraded to a standard room with balcony. The view was terrific. The room was tight but we expected that. However the bathroom was very tiny. The toilet was tucked in between the wall and the shower in such a way that the guest needed to stand and twist to get to the toilet paper. The shower was just as small with a clingy shower curtain that one couldn't stay away from. To make matters worse, all rooms were advertised as having: Coffee/tea maker, minibar, bathrobes, and slippers, iron/ironing board, safe. None of these items were in the room! I asked staff and was told none of the 50 rooms have these items. Surprise! There are only a few parking places across from the hotel, but there is additional parking down the street.

Perfektes Wohlfühlfeeling
Perfekte Überraschung. Nach einigen Kritiken hatte ich nicht all zu viel erwartet beim Check- in. Dann erfuhr ich bei Ankunft um 12 auch noch das ein Check in erst ab 14 Uhr möglich ist. Dann aber ein kostenfreies Upgrade mit Meerblick und sehr freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück war perfekt und beim Partner Hotel gab es Liegen und Schirm direkt am Wasser. Absolut perfekt ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Etwas Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist der Frühstücksraum der den Charme eines Kreissaals hat. Und auchbwar mein Zimmer durch die Zwischentüre leider hellhörig.

L'hotel e' fronte mare, ma vecchio, forse in restaurazione, la camera benche superior perche fromte porto era piccola con bagno angusto e aria comdizionata malfunzionante. Lo staff si e' adoperato ma era tardi per soluzioni praticabili. Mi insospettisce che la camera sia stata lasciata con le finestre aperte per cui all'arrivo -ore 23- era rovente e umida per il gran caldo con l'aria condizionata che andava in blocco ogni 3 minuti.

Low quality service for its price
Room looks better in photos than it actually is. Despite that, trash can in the bathroom was broken and there was no hot water. I had to ask repeatedly reception to solve these problems, since they were not interested at first to help. I wouldn't suggest it to someone, unless there is no other room to stay in Pylos. Only liked the breakfast and the view.

All the rooms have a nice view of the sea All the staff was great . The rooms are pretty and comfy .. the food was okay . Ill recomand that hôtel to everyone the view is really Worth it and its really not expensive.
