Let’s start with the positive. Location was good. Parking is very convenient. Room was quiet and the A/C worked well. Amenities were good as all necessities were available. The bad- there was no one at the check in desk when we arrived. We stood there for a while waiting for someone to show up. I finally started yelling “hello” for someone to come to the front. It was 2:00 in the afternoon. There was no toilet paper or hand sanitizer in the women’s lobby restroom. The coffee offered in the lobby was cold. We made it to our room to find the door was literally falling off the hinges. We had to go back to the desk to be moved to another room. Overall there just seems to be a lack of maintenance and attention to detail in the hotel.

The beds were terrible, the AC barely worked (didn’t cool below 74), and there was no parking for a trailer. We booked 3 rooms and all were the same. However, the location was good and the area safe.

We enjoyed this hotel! This is the second time that we have stayed here. The location is convenient and feels safe. Everything we need to go to is normally a quick drive. We also love the comfort of this hotel. The beds are comfortable and I love the fact that they allow pets since we like to travel with our fur babies. I'm sure we will be back!

Wake up to have somebody else in my room
I woke up to find someone else coming into my room. They gave someone a key after I had already gone to bed when I called downstairs the lady said whoops it was a mistake. We didn’t show anybody in your room and hung up the phone. I tried to call back she would not answer, the shower in my room was not clean at all

Metairie Hampton is clean, comfortable and afforda
Clean and comfy room. Clean hotel hallways and public areas. Breakfast was convenient and filling. Many options for morning meal. Since hotel was next to highway 10 we didn’t hear much traffic or congestion

We stayed 1 night room was clean, friendly staff, good location off the freeway. Not at all like what I would expect from a Hilton hotel. My only complaint would be no hot water, we took Luke warm/Cold showers. Breakfast was decent until a homeless man walked in causing a commotion while he decided to grab himself a free breakfast plate after cussing out one of the staff members. Fun times in New Orleans lol 😆 Over all hotel was adequate probably won’t stay here again.

Rooms need cleaning
Everything was great. But I was disappointed in 1. they did not clean my room. I came back from an outing around 3 PM and my room was still uncleaned. 2. Ya only provide 2 body towels. I use two towels for myself and my husband uses a third one. We had to go ask for additional towels twice since my room was not cleaned up. That was disappointing. I expected my room to be cleaned at least by 3 PM.

We love staying here! Woke up to a flat tire, roadside assistance prices ⬆️⬆️⬆️, nothing open this early but we had asked at the front desk about our dilemma. We were blessed that the front desk clerk (Ronald) checked on us when he got off work. Took us for fix a flat, put it in and called his brother who came with air pump and put us back on schedule! Saved us a bundle. Prayers for all of them. Impressive to say the least. Especially being women travelers. Thank you Ronald and crew. You were out lifesaver
