There was a lot of construction going on when we were there, so hard to judge some aspects. The reception people were exceptionally nice and helpful. Great location. Our room was more a suite, with a separate room with kitchenette and dining/seating area.

Excellent position but should not have accepted our booking. In midst of major refurband we were only guests in the only accessible room. Not a good experience.

The hotel is situated in a wonderful location, in the center of the action and right acress the street from a charming little park. Unfortunately the rooms are pretty dated and the bed was 2 small bed pushed together to make a larger one. The is also construction going on and as a result there is noise and dust. The staff however was wonderful.

Condesa opposite park with fountain that cools surrounds. Lots of dog walkers. Good local cafes and bars. Excellent location out of madness of Centro Historico

Nice small hotel overlooking Plaza Luis Cabrera
Most of the hotel staff was very helpful. They did not have a map of the surrounding neighborhood, but the young man at night searched online and printed out a very nice one for me. They are renovating some of the upstairs rooms, which I didn't see, but the room I had was very nice. Rooms on the street side are noisier, but overlook the nice plaza below.

Great location, awesome staff.
The place is located right in the middle of everything, with restaurants close by. The room was quiet and clean. The staff was very helpful with my questions. Booking it on Expedia was half of what they charge if you just called for a reservation, so that was nice.

Dishonest concierge and uncomfortable beds.
Positives: Located in a nice kind of quiet neighbourhood, good restaurants and coffee shops around. Front desk staff nice and friendly. During my stay, they tried to help me the best they could. Street noise and light to a minimum. Cleanliness is ok, will clarify on my negatives. Doorbell entrance to this hotel adds to the safety provided. Stayed at the master suit, its spacious and has a separate small sitting, kitchenette area. There is a safe in the room. NEGATIVES The concierge personnel was a bit dishonest by going through our belongings, nothing was stolen only my perfume was used to try to disguise the smoke smell. we found some cigarette ashes in the sink which she forgot to clean after her/his smokes. We left a message for management of this hotel but never heard back. I would have been more generous if this was addressed, a simple apology would have been sufficient to overlook all other negatives and recommend or stay again at this hotel. showers are decent but has no decent ventilation so it fogs immediately, our room had one giant popped bubble form by water leak. Beds are very uncomfortable and pillows are really hard and thick. Not close to main attraction but accessible through taxi and is also close to subway station.

good place to stay
there is a park in front of the hotel. If you are gonna stay many days here, it is recommended that you live in the room with balcony, it is really good place.

Good enough for a decent stay and rest
Discreet since it doesn't really look like a hotel from the outside; conveniently located and quiet, although I guess it really depends on if you have neighbors upstairs. Staff is very polite and accommodating, felt like home.

Beware!! They overcharge you by "Mistake"!
I booked this hotel through Expedia and at the check-in I paid with my credit card. When I checked the receipt in the room the same night, I realized they have over charged me for $87.21 compared the booking price on Expedia. I did not notice it when I was signing the receipt because the amount was in peso.I told the staff the next day and I was assured that they made a mistake and will refund me right away. Refund was not processed during my stay. I communicated and waited for another month for refund, but did not come. I finally contested the charge through my credit card company, and the hotel now says that they do not owe any refund!!!!! Be careful, not to be charged extra by "mistake"!!!

Well located but bad experience!
Staff was rude and argumentative. Pictures on Expedia are nothing like the hotel. Suites are not really suites. Didn't have room available that was booked on arrival and challenged us about our Expedia booking. Wanted to charge us for a broken glass in room that was already broken on arrival. Did not want family and local lifelong friends to come to the hotel to pick us up or accompany us while we get ready to go out.

Great hotel at Colonia Roma
Great hotel for the price you pay. Hotel is not the fanciest but it's definitely located in a perfect area. You have la Plaza Luis Cabrera right outside. Again if you're expecting a 5 star hotel this is not it. But it's great for the price you pay.

a good basic hotel: nothing luxurious but great location. It was quiet when I was there. Wifi was working well. Breakfast OK but included. Coffee was not good.

Simple and clean accommodations.
Hotel could use some improvements like better pillows and mattresses or better hot water service in the bathroom. Room a bit cold and it didn't have a heater. Staff is super attemptive and helpful. The room was clean and service every day with detail. The neighborhood is excellent with lots of places to wander around, have dinner or just and expresso and a croissant. Beautiful small park just across the street.

Great stay
Had a great stay ....location was perfect, hotel...while being a little older was kept very clean and the staff was amazing. Great neighbourhood, my go to hotel for value, location and comfort.

Stay away! Didn't have my reservation
Booked a 3-night stay from THIS very website. When I arrived, my reservation was nowhere to be found. The young man at the desk simply said, "Oh, yes, this tends to happen. We sometimes don't receive the reservations." No other rooms were available and we had to carry our bags around Roma in search of another place. The clerk was helpful and called a few other hotels for us (all of which were booked). ...still doesn't excuse what happened.

Very friendly staff. Good breakfast with several choices Room was adequate but double bed was small for 2 adults. Park across the street was pretty but bright lights at nite still visible through curtains & noise from restaurants across the way loud at times Would have liked nightstands & reading lights on each side of bed

Staff was very nice we did not get the room we paid for and they were willing to move us , however we stayed where we were it was late. Tv did not work, Internet did not work and floors were dirty. Would not stay there again

They promissed, breakfast included, and there was nothing. The Photographs of the rooms on the internet advertising, nothing ccompared with reality. They said parking for a fee, and there was not parking lot, this were 23 blocks away and belongs to other organization, there was no bell boy, velet parking etc.

Dear Luciio. I am sorry for your mishap. We do not have parking in the hotel, that is why we do have an external valet parking ( with cost ). The breakfast is served on the ground floor in our cafeteria.

My only complaint is that our room, which was at the front of the hotel overlooking the plaza, was noisy at night because of the restaurant that was directly below our room. Otherwise very happy with our stay.

Fantastic location and huge room!

Great Neighborhood
I love this hotel. First, because it has a friendly and helpful staff, both at the reception and dinning room. They're very efficient and so their work with a smile. Second, because the place is in a nice, trendy neighborhood. Also, the hotel itself is very typical with terracota tiles, garden and balconies. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Next time am in Mexico City, I will stay there again.

Modest Accomodations for a Very Reasonable Price
Casa de la Condesa provided clean and comfortable lodging across from a small park in a charming and safe neighborhood. The accommodations were more than adequate and the beds very comfortable. The hotel has few amenities other than a friendly and helpful staff. However, there are many restaurants and stores within a very short walk. We were very happy with our stay.

Nice hotel needs maintenance.
The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood and has a lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance. It is an old hotel and it needs some maintenance but nothing mayor. It lacks a parking lot so if you are traveling with a car it becomes somehow difficult. Overall it is a good hotel.

Comfortable Hotel in pretty location
Pleasant, accommodating staff, clean nicely appointed rooms. The rooms can be dark but so are the rooms of many hotels in Mexico. The hotel is across from a park in a pretty residential area only a few blocks from the Metro. There are a number of good restaurants close by - some budget and some higher end. Taxi fare to the Zocalo is only around 25 pesos if the driver uses his meter. We really enjoyed are stay at this hotel.
